Stayed Dec 1, 2023Mon Desir is a hidden gem in the Yarra Valley with short drive to Healesville and 15 minutes or less to anywhere else in the valley. House has everything you need, just bring food, clothes, toiletries and yourself.

Stayed Nov 5, 2021Lovely, comfortable home with enough space for our group of 6 adults to enjoy. The backyard is more stunning than the pictures can show and we had six parrots constantly coming to the yard to be fed. House is quiet despite having houses either side and the beds comfy. Would stay again!

Stayed Feb 18, 2021The solidity of this lovely house, its quietness and its beautiful setting were incredibly appealing. I’m not into fancy furnishings and showy houses, but I am a sucker for a fabulous view. Mon Desir won my heart by being beautifully designed, clean, tastefully furnished, full of character and having a wonderful view of neighbouring foothills/small mountains. I would love to know if they have names. There is a balcony to the bedrooms on the first floor with an even better view than below. I’d love to come back! I must have seen twenty-seven kangaroos in a short ten minute stroll down the street, and king parrots every day in the garden.
