Modern Shipping Container With Beautiful Pool!

We loved the pool and outdoor area! The landscape is truly beautiful and the pool temperature perfect. The patio and barbecue for Casa Nautical really added to it. Inside we had some issues since the unit was not equipped with dish clothes, tea towels and there seemed to be a mix up with the cleaners that we were even there. They wash the sheets once a week but missed us and then brought the wrong size. The manager is prompt to offer solutions but it took a couple of weeks to get everything sorted. We were staying a month and the kitchen equipment was very basic but doable. The fridge is a mini with an open slot at the top for a freezer so you couldn’t store anything and it held one ice cube tray but took 2 days to freeze. I’m not sure if I would recommend a long term stay there if you’re hoping to cook in. There is a store very close that has most of what you’ll need but not a good meat selection. You can walk to town in 30 minutes and to the beach in 20. That was nice but part of the road is unpaved, rough and dusty and with the heat making it hard to carry groceries. We didn’t rent a car since we were told it was walkable. For a month though it was hard. We ended up renting a golf cart for the last 10 days and that was great but expensive. There’s a farm next door but you can’t really see it because of the beautiful hedges. You can sure hear it though especially the rooster which didn’t wait until morning to crow, and dogs that barked often at night.

My entire stay in Samara was very enjoyable and stress free. The hosts are amazing and extremely helpful in making recommendations for all your needs during your stay and the communication was outstanding. Suite was very clean and modern. Highly recommend!!

I almost don't want to rate and review this place in fear of it getting too well known and booked too much so that my wife and I couldn't just come stay anytime we want to, but here it is. This rental is situated just far enough off the main drag in samara that it is quite, yet close enough for an easy, and very enjoyable, short walk to get to the middle of town. The containers are very comfortable and had everything that my wife I needed for our stay. The beds are very comfortable and the bedroom is cozy, we slept so good every night!! The grounds are PERFECTLY done, it shows that they put a lot of thought and hard work into creating a great environment and they nailed it! The pool absolutely makes this place over the top, it is such a great asset to this place with it's private setting. Chris and Shayna are great hosts and really down to earth people, we were able to hang out a couple times around the pool together and we had such a wonderful time talking about Costa Rica and traveling and just life in general. Everything about Sea Casa exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to come back. J & M

We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Casa in Playa Samara! Container was clean and bed was very comfortable. Pool was great and spent a-lot of afternoons there. Shayna and Chris were very friendly hosts. No problem with parking our car rental on the property.

Staying at Sea Casa and the introduction to Samara was absolutely amazing! Casa Nautical proved to be the perfect accommodation for us. It is even better than the photos show - and at night with the stars and tropical surroundings it is pure magine. It is stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal or a bar-b-que at home. The ceiling fans and aircon cooled the home beautifully. The custom walk-in shower is stunning. The bed was SO comfortable. The patio is tropically landscaped and private. The pool is a serious work of art and I believe the best pool I've ever been in! It is the perfect place to swim and cool off in after the beach, to visit and have a cocktail (or 3!) The pool surroundings offer shade, comfortable loungers and an outdoor shower. We did not want to leave and cannot wait to come back. Chris and Shayna have built this beautiful slice of paradise and their heart and soul shine through. They are truly wonderful hosts and people and the true definition of Pura Vida. We plan to see you again very soon. Thank you so much for everything!

We really liked this property. The location, beautiful beaches in very close proximity, restaurants and shopping, beautiful sunsets and wonderful hosts.

My husband and I loved our stay at Sea Casa! We watched Sea Casa being built on The Dufresnes YouTube channel and could not wait to stay there once we had the chance. That chance came in December 2021 and the experience exceeded our expectations! We stayed in Casa Nautical and the home was clean, affordable, comfortable and within walking distance of the beach and the middle of town. The icing on the cake was getting to know Shayna and Chris and making new friends! Because of our experience, Sámara, CR shot up to the top of our list on places to retire in a few years. We had a wonderful stay at Sea Casa. Shayna and Chris were extremely welcoming and responsive. They shared a list of their favorite dining spots which quickly became our favorites as well. We also met a fellow traveler, John, who has become a friend. The set up, while very private, encouraged getting to know each other. The purpose of our trip was to find a home and Shayna and Chris provided helpful information regarding that as well. We highly recommend Sea Casa. The container homes were a fun experience and very quiet and comfortable!
