NEIGHBORHOOD
This corner of East Nashville is mid-glow-up. Nights stay quiet (Nashville limits construction hours), but you may notice some daytime construction and the area looking less polished as the neighborhood transforms. Guests who want a walkable, lived-in neighborhood tend to love it anyway; think of it as catching East Nash mid-makeover.

MAKE NOTE
Our nightly rate covers up to 2 guests. Additional guests (up to our max occupancy of 4 total) are $20 per person per night. Please confirm your final headcount no later than 24 hours before arrival. Max occupancy is firm — we cannot accommodate groups larger than 4.

We welcome potty-trained, well-behaved dogs (up to 2 per stay) for $25 per night per dog. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring pets. The fenced dog run on the property is all yours. (More detail in House Rules.)

Guests are required to sign a digital rental agreement within 48 hours of booking (or ASAP if arriving within 5 days). Failure to sign may lead to a guest-initiated cancellation under the agreed policy.

Standard check-in is 4 PM or later, with check-out at 11 AM. Earlier check-in or later check-out may be possible for an additional fee when the calendar allows.

Cadence is attached to our home, so you may occasionally hear the happy hum of family life. We’re conscientious hosts and keep things low-key, so it’s never disruptive — just a reminder you’re staying in a welcoming neighborhood home. The guest house is located above the garage, so climbing steps is required. For your safety and ours, three cameras are actively recording: one in the driveway, one in the dog run, and a doorbell cam at your entry.

A major neighborhood glow-up is in progress! Your nighttime peace won’t be affected (Nashville limits work hours), but you may notice some daytime construction and the area will look a little less polished while the magic happens. Think of it as visiting mid-makeover — and a great excuse to come back and see the finished product!

We are fully permitted and abide by all local and state regulations governing short-term rentals.

HOUSE RULES
We want every guest to have a great experience. These house rules help us keep things safe, respectful, and running smoothly. Failure to follow them may result in extra charges—or, in rare cases, early termination of your stay without a refund.

Rental Agreement
Please sign the digital agreement within 48 hours of booking—or right away if you’re arriving within 5 days. If it isn’t signed, your stay may be canceled as a guest-initiated cancellation under the agreed policy.

Be Thoughtful
Treat the home like it belongs to your favorite aunt and uncle. Clean up after yourself, and leave things as you found them.

No Shenanigans
No drugs, illegal activity, unregistered guests, or parties. Breaking this rule may result in immediate cancellation with no refund. Let’s not go there.

No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking or vaping is only allowed in the alleyway or dog run. Absolutely no lighting up indoors or on the balcony.

️ Be a Good Neighbor
Keep noise down after dark and save the party vibes for Broadway. Nashville's quiet hours are 11 pm to 7 am.

Be a Responsible Pet Owner
Up to 2 well-behaved, potty-trained dogs are welcome for $25 each per night—just let us know in advance. Use the dog run for off-leash play and always clean up after them. Furniture must stay pet-free unless covered with linens you bring. No other animals allowed.

‍♀️ Guests Count + Age Requirement
The primary guest must be 21+, stay the entire time, and take responsibility for the stay. Rate includes 2 guests; extras (up to 4 total) are $20/night and must be confirmed 24 hours before arrival. Max occupancy is firm at 4, and only those listed on the reservation are allowed on the property. No additional visitors for any length of time. Middle TN residents must request approval before booking or are subject to cancellation. Families and kids are welcome, but the home is not child-proofed.

Festive Decor
Planning to decorate Please use wall-safe tape only, and remove all decorations before checkout. Any damage to walls, ceilings, or paint will be charged to the guest.

Security Cameras
For your safety and ours, three cameras are actively recording: one in the driveway, one in the dog run, and a doorbell cam at your entry.

️ Keep Us in the Loop
Accidents happen. Let us know right away if something breaks or gets damaged so we can take care of it quickly. We appreciate your honesty.

Maintenance + Repairs
We’ll handle repairs as quickly as possible. If something can’t be restored to livable standards (as determined by us), we’ll do our best to relocate you or refund unused nights. However, we’re not responsible for covering alternate accommodations.

Liability Disclaimer
We’re not responsible for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or lost items. Guests accept all risk during their stay and are liable for any damage they cause.

No Glitter
This is a confetti- and glitter-free zone. Seriously, y’all. (We’re as surprised as you are that it needs to be said.)

Eye Roll Disclaimer
If you’re rolling your eyes at any of this, just know—every rule has a backstory. Thanks for helping us keep this space clean, comfortable, and welcoming for everyone. Cheers to an awesome stay!

Sadly, I was only able to stay here for one night for a business meeting the following morning. And let me tell you, I was running through every excuse in my head to try and ditch that meeting so I could enjoy the accommodations just a bit longer. This place should be a Conde' Nast Traveler Top 10 Must Stay and a Best of the Best in Nashville if it's not already! I had heard about this stay through a mutual friend and - given that I like supporting small businesses - thought I would give it a go. From the moment I arrived in the quaint neighborhood just minutes from the downtown action, all eyes pointed to a highly convenient, yet restful retreat. The owners and their spunky little pup are infectiously warm and welcoming and took time to show me all the next level amenities - mood lighting, fireplace, a kitchen that could double as a Food Network set and wait - that XXXL picture is actually a high-definition TV? - get outta town!! And don't get me started on the heated floors, a bathroom worthy of a separate Spa fee, soundproofed walls (that's right Honeymooners) and furnishings so tasteful, you could probably serve 'em up for lunch. Seriously folks, if you are coming to Nashville - quit scrolling and book Cadence for yourself today. Because at the end of the day - with a bright and welcoming aura, resort style beauty, and boundless amenities - this place might start getting marriage proposals!

The attention to detail in this property is unmatched! All of the design elements were carefully considered. From the moment I saw the photos, I immediately envisioned myself enjoying every bit of it, and that's exactly what I did. The bathroom will absolutely spoil you - from the heated floors, towel rack, and toilet and of course you have to experience the bidet! The balcony was perfect and spacious. The location is a short drive to downtown, and I personally appreciated being away from all of the hustle and bustle. I walked to several local places; Chicago's Chicken and Waffles for great soul food with a live band on Thursdays, The Authentique Wine and Crepe Bar, Fatbelly Pretzel and Urban Juicer. There were many other options that I didn't have time to explore. My only caution is since I wasn't familiar with the area, I was a bit nervous walking around at night by myself. However, it really just depends on what you're used to and comfortable with. And there's no question, I would stay at this property again and I hope to bring my family next time.Lastly, Alece is a gem. Throughout the entire process, her communication was prompt and thorough. Thanks for making my first trip to Nashville a memorable one!
