Luxury Guest-residence in a Beautiful garden just 15min from San Diego & Beaches

We needed a quick getaway to relax and attend a concert in SD. This was exactly what we needed. Joy's casita is settled in a relaxing and quite place. The details she puts into the room are wonderful. You can really relax. Thank you ladies for an enjoyable stay. We enjoyed all the birds and the breath of nature around us. We will consider it again when we need to stay somewhere in this area.

Joy was a pleasure to deal with, she was very responsive to all my needs. The property was very quiet and serene. The casita was stocked with everything that we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The Casita was by far and away the best VRBO I've stayed at. The owner, Alessia, is an amazing host and human being and extremely detail oriented. I was never left wondering on any topic, from shoes to laundry; and when I had questions she was very responsive. The pictures -- while great -- do this place no justice, and it was easily twice as nice in person. The little things also mounted up, too: the swan-folded towel, the veil blinds were all drawn creating a beautiful and exciting entry into the place and bedroom, the outdoor evening lighting was adorable, everything was labeled that needed to be...I could go on. My only comment is the bed is very plush. While great for some people, for me it was too much so I slept on the sofa bed instead which was plenty firm. I have zero complaints about this place and I honestly hope to stay here again. If you ever have the privilege of booking this stay, you will NOT be disappointed.

Had a great time here, the home is beautiful and well presented with lots of amenities. The backyard is gorgeous as well with a hot tube and great view! Also very close to North Park, Downtown La Mesa, and other areas! Would highly recommend and we will be back!

Our host was very gracious, providing everything we needed for our month-long stay. This is a GARDEN apartment, where you walk out to a spacious patio, with a huge garden. There are orange & avocado trees, and a zillion songbirds right outside. We took daily walks to LaMesa for groceries, antique shops, etc; and the expressways were very accessible. We will definitely re-book.

We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery in the backyard and the quiet neighborhood. The house has a very homey feel and the bed was super comfortable! This added to so much to our wonderful trip to San Diego! Thank you so much, Alessia!

First of all, Alessia was incredible! The Cactus House was clean, welcoming, and had everything we could have imagined for a comfortable stay. Alessia was accommodating and patient with us. The beds were so comfortable and the decor was perfect. The backyard was so secluded and huge! The kids absolutely loved exploring and hanging outside. I can not wait to come back. Perfect location, very close to San Diego, yet very little traffic and every store imaginable around you. Thank you Alessia!!!

Everything about the property was all good. But I found the website difficult to use and, as I don't have a smart phone and couldn't use the ap, I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to communicate with the property owner. Once I was able to get her cell phone number, everything went smoothly.
