We loved the property and the location. The bathrooms were very well stocked and we did not need a thing. We also had the privilege of meeting Frances who is a delightful person and engaging to speak with. I highly recommend a stay in this location.

Make sure to turn around when you pull into the driveway to see the Hollywood sign - what a breathtaking way to start your vacation. This location can't be beat! Couple that with Frances amazing communication, amenities galore and super comfy beds and you have the perfect retreat. Literally 15 minutes from Warner Bros Studio and 10 min from Universal, my daughter and I had a great time. When I am back in LA, I will most definitely stay here again, A

A peaceful and quiet retreat. The perfect location for writers or creatives. Our host, Frances, was gracious and thoughtful. Attention to every detail was taken into consideration in furnishing and stocking this efficient guest house. The decor is bright and cheery with lovely artwork. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is small but incredibly well organized. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Parking is afe and right outside the door. This is a great place for anyone with mobility issues as there are only one or two small steps inside and outside the unit. There is an amazing collection of DVDs and books. You could easily stay occupied here without having to leave for days. There's also a charming, private patio with plenty of seating for relaxing or having your morning coffee outside. Thoughtful additions like an earthquake kit and flashlights were appreciated. It was so peaceful and quiet, we both slept like babies. And, above all, everything was sparkling clean. Highly recommend this jewel in the Hollywood Hills.

This was a great place with a fun view. Easy walk to a Runyan Canyon trail. Easy drive to Hollywood area and freeway access. Frances was easy to contact and very responsive. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

I highly recommend this serene house in the Hollywood Hills. As a former resident of the area, this is the perfect spot for me to stay when I return to visit friends. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well. It’s extremely private and safe. The most appealing aspect is that it’s within walking distance to Runyon Canyon hiking.

Great location! Frances was responsive with resending email information when we experienced a hiccup with VRBO. We enjoyed morning coffee in the private courtyard.

Kitchen was equipped for cooking and the space was clean with a Large shower. Parking was available. Was not excited about the mother/Daughter setup. It served its purpose.

We really enjoyed our stay, the Hollywood Vibe was palpable throughout the property, from framed movie posters to the view, from the driveway, of the actual Hollywood sign in the distance.It was clean and eclectic, colorful and functional, and we all enjoyed it thoroughly.

Absolutely wonderful stay here! The property is a beautiful, stylish, clean, safe, and comfortable haven in the Hollywood hills. I hope to be back and would recommend it to family and friends. Walking distance (15min) from Runyon Canyon trailhead. The hostess is exceptional as well! One of the highlights during the stay for me was watching hummingbirds in the garden.

We had an excellent stay! The location was wonderful with beautiful views and a short drive to Universal or Hollywood blvd. The house was so cool with awesome decor! My family enjoyed staying there, plenty of room, all the amenities you need and entertainment.

The location was convenient to the surrounding area and very clean and welcoming! The space was unique and had all basic needs plus more. The DVD collection was VERY impressive! Cute outside area to relax or have a meal. Easy parking and secure space.

Delightful stay in the hills with a view of the Hollywood sign. Especially convenient if you’re going to a show at the Bowl. Private the cheerful outdoor space.

Cute little guest house. In some ways, it is close to everything. It is not grab a cup of coffee around the corner close; you will have to drive down the hill. But it's otherwise convenient to all the usual LA sites. I was warned by others that living off of Mulholland is a pain; that it is impossible to get out on the road. This was NOT the case for me--very easy to get onto Mulholland.

The location is beautiful and the house is an easy walk to Runyon Canyon and its great trails and views. We met Frances during our stay and she was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. The design of the house was very thoughtful. We enjoy driving on Hollywood hills and the view of the valley and the city. It’s hilly in some areas if you are not used to driving hills. But we loved it. The owner is very detailed on the guest needs. We felt like home. Thank you Francis!

The location was absolutely amazing! Close to just about everything you would want to do in LA and close to several grocery stores so you could pick up snacks or easy meals. The house was impeccably clean and well furnished with basic necessities in the kitchen. The host was very responsive and kind throughout the rental process.

My friends (including one infant) and I stayed at Frances' house for a long weekend and we LOVED it. The location is very cool and offers beautiful views of the adjacent hills. It's so close to everything but just removed enough that the environment is very peaceful. Frances was super accommodating and communicative -- any questions we had were answered immediately! And the space itself was so cool and charming.

Host was friendly and extremely helpful. Home was neat and clean. The fact that we could walk to Runyon canyon was amazing. Would def stay here again.

Just stayed here while in town for three shows at the Hollywood Bowl. It was perfect. A quick Uber to/from the venue allowed me to drop into the action and then retreat into calm. Took a great hike in Runyon Canyon, only .5 miles away !Would def here stay again! Clean and well-stocked!

My teenage daughter and I stayed here while we were in town for Disneyland, Universal, and general Hollywood. There is a great view of the Hollywood sign out front, along with a cool scenic overlook of the city a few minutes down the mountain. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, within about 12 minutes from groceries and restaurants, and Universal Studios.We liked that Frances, our host, lived on the property and would be available to help us out if we needed it- but we also had complete privacy. The space was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the shower felt amazing after a busy day. It's a smaller space, yet it was still very spacious and somehow it had everything you could possibly need for your trip: bandaids, sunblock, a fan, a cooler, a picnic basket, games, books, coffee, and we estimated maybe 700 DVDs! If I ever find myself back in California with one other person, I will easily stay here again. Thank you, Frances!

Me, my husband, and our 13 and 15 year old were very happy with this guest house. It’s located in a beautiful location which provides views worth looking at. The host is highly responsive, kind and thoughtful (she knew it was my husband‘s birthday and wrote a little happy birthday note and included a bottle of wine). We loved the artsy decor and the hundreds of dvds and books. We would definitely stay here again.

Frances was a wonderful host. She kept us in the loop in the days leading up to our stay due to the wildfires in the area. We arrived to find everything as described. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with iconic views nearby. We also loved looking through her collection of movies.

Frances was an excellent host, staying in close communication prior to, and during, our stay. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the back courtyard and garden beds, and the view of the Hollywood sign (from out front) was an added bonus.

We felt right at home in the bright and welcoming space that our host had set up. The house is full of colour and light, plenty of everything that you would need traveling with a family- dishes & towels etc. The kids enjoyed the garden full of flowers and palm trees and we enjoyed coffee outside on the patio in the sun. The location is excellent, close drive into the city, but quiet at night (you can hear the coyotes and owls!). We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to our friends.

we had the best time! the house was so cute and perfect and it was exactly what we hoped for. we loved being in the hills and in the lovely weather. we enjoyed coffee on the patio every morning and we were a quick drive away from everything we did while we were in town. we loved looking at all the dvds, artwork, and movie posters around the house. frances was a wonderful host and communication with her was very efficient. we will definitely try to stay here again next time we travel to LA

The drive through Hollywood hills was amazing each time. Close to Runyon Canyon Park for a hike. Foliage around the property makes it a tropical paradise.

Our group of four ladies had an absolutely wonderful stay. Frances, our host, was great at communication, providing detailed directions to the property and tips for navigating the area. The property was bright, spotless, fun, and funky. The area was fantastic, with quick access to the LA area and all the major sites.

We stayed here the last few days of our CA trip. It was a quick Lyft to the Hollywood Bowl for a concert. Nice and quiet, we just hung out and relaxed for the remainder of our trip.

This was perfect for our mother/daughter getaway. Convenient to Hollywood activities and gorgeous scenery. Very quiet and comfortable with everything we needed.

We honestly had the most wonderful time at this VRBO. From the start Frances answered all my questions and all her instructions on accessing the property were clear. The place was clean, equipped with everything we needed and so comfortable. We loved the artwork and movie collection! It was also close to everything but tucked away so we could relax. My son and I can’t wait to visit again. We already talked about bringing my other son next time who had to miss this trip.

What a lovely, colorful place to stay- tucked in the Hollywood Hills. Very clean and private. It has a bright patio set perfectly for a sunny breakfast or a fun-filled happy hour. If you choose to stay in, there are over 1200 DVDs and shelves full of books on Hollywood to enjoy. I especially loved the bright, eclectic art and the lovely tile work. The kitchen is tiny but well-appointed. The yellow bedroom was my favorite with a very comfy bed. I will definitely book it again if I’m staying in that area.

We found the property to be as advertised and to be really lovely. The location is excellent, it’s quiet and feels safe although you’re only a few minutes drive from Hollywood and Highland. Decor is funky and Hollywood-inspired. The two outdoor spaces are very nice. The host is very kind and friendly but not overbearing.

We wanted to be close, but not in the heart of hollywood and this place was perfect. The whole process from check in to check out went smooth. Would reccomend this place to anyone looking to be convenient, yet away from the traffic and crammed housing.
