With an excellent location, you can easily get to the beach, Playa Vista, Marina Del Rey, Venice, Santa Monica, etc. with an Uber or Lyft. There are also bus stops within walking distance of our home! You can walk to restaurants, yoga studios, super markets, shopping etc from our home! Nearby destinations: The closest Beach is Playa Del Rey, about a six minute drive from us and a quaint beach town with a family oriented feel. Playa Del Rey is a perfect spot for bicycling along the ocean bike path going south all the way to Redondo Beach. I recommend you stop for lunch at Martha's on 22nd in Hermosa Beach.
Marina del Rey, is located about a ten minutes drive Northwest. It is L.A's upscale boat harbor, take a stroll, paddle kayak or paddle boat, enjoy a sunset sail! A quaint part of Marina Del Rey is Fisherman's Village where you'll find the following: Bicycle rentals are available from 'Daniel's Bicycle Rental & Sales.' Venice Beach, about a 15 minute drive Northwest has a countercultural vibe and a perpetual carnival of dancers, drummers and street performers. Just inland from the beach, the trendy Abbot Kinney Blvd is lined with cafes, boutiques and restaurants. Best coffee and coolest place is Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea.

Santa Monica, about a 20 minutes drive North, has plenty to offer for tourists. The colorful city of Santa Monica is sandwiched between Venice and Malibu along the beautiful coastline of the Pacific Ocean. With three great shopping destinations, shopping here is a must! You have 3rd Street Promenade, Montana Ave and Main Street. The Santa Monica Pier features the famous Pacific Park: a family amusement park with a large Ferris wheel, a vintage carousel built in the 1920s, an aquarium, shops, entertainers, an arcade, a pub, and restaurants. The Santa Monica Pier is a must-see destination for those visiting Southern California. The Santa Monica Farmer's Market (Wednesday & Saturdays) is one of the best!

Hollywood is about a 10 mile drive Northeast, there are plenty of tourist attractions in Hollywood. Drive up to get a closer look at the Hollywood sign, there's plenty of parking to view the sign by Lake Hollywood Park. Sunset Ranch Hollywood, offers a variety of daily trail rides through Griffith Park. Very clean and new, small guest house with nice yard and quiet neighborhood close to airport and freeways. Not far from Santa Monica and Beaches. Would definitely stay there again needs more information on Wi-Fi and how to use the tv on information sheet inside the house.

We stayed 29 days and had a great experience. We have two small dogs and the yard worked perfectly for our needs. The family staying in the main house were extremely considerate and developed into a wonderful friendship.

We had a lovely week-long stay in this guesthouse. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We loved eating meals outside under the pergola in the garden. The owner, Kim, was flexible about check in/out times, and provided us every bit of information we needed in a timely manner. There are no keys; you use 2 different codes, to first enter the gate to the back yard and then to enter the guesthouse. TIP - write down the codes and keep them on your phone or in your wallet! All appliances were very clean and in good working order. The wifi worked great. We did not use the TV. The guesthouse is in a really nice, quiet neighborhood with wide streets and lots of parking. It is easy to access, off of Sepulveda near the LAX airport. There is a Von's grocery store on a quiet street only a mile away. We would definitely stay here again.

Kim and her husband have created a most enjoyable destination/‘home’. This is a well appointed, very secure and pleasant space in a desirable (or desireable for us) LA location. We (2) enjoyed our ‘quite a few nights’ stay and Kim was most accommodating when we had an air mattress issue. Thanks Kim and to anyone considering a VRBO near the LA airport and generally accessible to LA, consider this space. Bill

My wife and I were very happy with this little gem in Los Angeles where we came to celebrate my brother's 60th birthday. Very well appointed and clean with a nice BBQ area. Only drawback was the storage of vehicles right in front of the entrance which made it dicey to get to at night. Overall you can not beat this property and we would use again.

I had an truly amazing experience staying at this guest house. I was there for a week between moves with my dog maverick. The house has been beautifully remodeled, very light and bright and has all the amenities you would need. The yard is incredibly peaceful to work or hang out in. Kim was great, super easy to commute with and fast to respond when I had questions. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking. An updated, affordable rental houses is hard to find in LA in such a great location. This place is truly a gem.

I’m writing another review because there have been some major improvements since last time I stayed. The owners have built a separate guest house in the back. I love the new guest bedroom. I slept better here than I do at home. The guest house as a very well appointed kitchen and bathroom. This makes it easier to stay with the whole family. There’s a secure backyard with a shaded BBQ area, herb garden, grassy lawn, and shaded deck for meals. My entire stay was as comfortable as it could be. This will always be first choice for staying in LA. It’s a quick ride from the airport to a beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood not far from restaurants and businesses. I spent an afternoon Saturday hanging out in nearby Playa Vista, and spent the morning Sunday exploring the neighborhood and getting a great view of LA.
