Stayed Dec 31, 1969From the moment I stepped in the cottage it felt like home! I was lucky enough to find this gem for an extended stay (10 weeks) and I’m so glad that I did! The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood, but still pretty close to everything. I was always very comfortable in the cottage and Bethard’s were the perfect hosts! I would recommend the cottage to anyone, whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or something a little longer you won’t be disappointed!

Stayed Feb 14, 2019We stayed three nights in this adorable little back house and wish we could have stayed longer. It has everything a couple or small family like ours needs. The setting feels fully private and everything from the bed(s) to the hot shower is beyond comfortable and cozy. If you’re looking for an alternative to a cold hotel room and like the quiet of a semi-rural neighborhood, book this spot for your next visit to Shreveport. You’ll be happy you did.

Stayed Nov 2, 2018The Rural Woods Cottage is located in a great location , the neighborhood is just far enough out of town but close to everything you need. Ben is a joy to work with, we have stayed there a couple times now and will continue to book the cottage any time we go to the area.
