Deer House - Modern Carriage House with Lake Views

We needed a week to just veg , read a book and enjoy Kelowna. The Deer House was perfect. Comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Tracy and Richard are friendly and accommodating. Excellent hosts. We look forward to the next time.

Stunning sunsets, peaceful outdoor patio, the “Quail” family, beautiful neighborhood, the functional & well appointed suite … we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A superb location with beautiful vistas of water, trees and mountains all around. Tracy and Richard are wonderful hosts who are respectful of their guests. The property is very well kept interior and exterior. We loved our entire month enjoying this Lake Okanagan haven.

This is a gorgeous place to stay. We loved the carriage house comforts, beautiful views and excellent location. We highly recommend it. We brought e-bikes and cycled over 200km of beautiful trails in the area. Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

We really enjoyed everything about our stay. Tracy and Richard are welcoming, communicative and flexible. The accommodations were Super clean, comfortable and well thought out with care and attention to detail. Lots of thoughtful extras too. Very private and a beautiful and comfortable outdoor space too. We liked the area and there are some great walking and biking trails nearby.

Due to an unfortunate need for radiation treatment at the BC Cancer Agency, we needed to find a place for an extended stay while in Kelowna. I needed a place that had a kitchen. laundry and just the basics within a reasonable distance of the clinic. After looking at several other possibilities, we chose the Deer House because it offered privacy, quiet location with a beautiful view of the lake, and modern airy accommodations. So many other choices were basement suites, and this was much nicer. Tracy and her husband were welcoming but respectful of my privacy during this difficult medical treatment and I have nothing but nice things to say about them and the Deer House. All appliances were in great condition; there were plenty of dishes and towels, etc. One thing to note is the apartment is located on top of a garage and there is a series of steep steps leading up to the entrance, which may pose challenges for people with mobility issues. The beautiful view of the lake provided a calm and relaxing atmosphere during my difficult time. The unit is located in a very nice neighbourhood near many of the wonderful amenities of Kelowna -- shopping, restaurants, wineries. My only regret is that the COVID19 restrictions kept me from enjoying these close-as-hand options. Thank you Tracy and Richard!

Loved our stay at the Deer house. Great location, very helpful hosts. It was honestly the best equipped unit we have ever stayed in. It was very clean and the welcoming touches were very much appreciated. Next time we hope to stay longer!
