Cosy and Modern Studio in Muri Beach

Loved the location and value for money.

This was our first time in Rarotonga and we heard Muri Beach was the place to stay. It was great for the eating out choices with the night markets down the road. just a short walk to the lagoon where we enjoyed walks along the beach with a dog as company and good snorkeling. We booked this place as it had air conditioning which was much needed.

Host experience, amenities and more. In all my 50 years of travelling it was the worst accommodation I've stayed in. When I arrived at the apartment All the windows were wide opened which was very unusual. When the owner arrived and gave me the keys I realised why the windows were all wide opened. The apartment had a horrible musty smell, as though it had been locked up for years. The kitchen, bathroom cabinets and closet when opened emitted the same horrible musty smelI. When I picked up my hat from the sofa where I had put it a cockroach ran out from under it. On several occasions I opened the kitchen drawer to find cockroach crawling over the cutleries. While staying there I kept whatever I used in the kitchen washed and wrapped in Glad wrap or I poured boiling water over them before using them. I found that the owner would go into the apartment without telling me each time I left. I believe he went in to treat the roach and bug infestation, because during my stay there, each morning I woke up after he had been into the apartment, I found the floor littered with dead cockroaches. I knew he had been going in because I would leave the dead cockroaches on the floor when I went out, and return to find them gone. My electric toothbrush and it's travel case were mysteriously broken. My stay in this apartment was made a nightmare by his constant surveillance day and night. He lived above the apartment and constantly banged on the floor day and night. He was a dreadful host.

The studio was absolutely perfect for what we needed, the location couldn’t be any better, everything you need is within walking distance (beach, convenience store, food stores and the night markets). The hosts were good communicators and we both appreciated Harry’s efforts. Will definitely be back!!

Although first impressions were good the 'batch' is a little tired. Seats could be more comfortable,dining table and chairs too. The view from the deck was not very appealing with a compost heap complete with cardboard boxes in full view. The entire area needs some TLC as it is the only area to sit out in. There is a dangerouse hole in the deck by the door. We were not informed regarding the inability to use the toaster,jug and microwave at the same time . On a positve note it was well equipped,the bed was comfortable. It was in a good location convenient for restaurants and the beach and all other amenities. The museum next door was very handy for coffee and other drinks. The bus stop across the road was a great help. For the price it was good value but probably more suitable for young people. The house in front would suit us better if we visited again.

Loved it. Nice bedroom. Handy kitchenette. Friendly chickens. Excellent location.

Walking distance to markets, cafes, museum, tours, cultural night.

Great shower and air conditioning made this accommodation perfect. The bed is comfortable and the location is private. Well stocked kitchen if you are cooking your own meals. Only request would be to upgrade from plastic to glass wine glass. A mat inside the front door would be helpful.Thanks Harry and Sian. Loved my stay!

Nice and quite, walking distance to shops, resto, Muri night food market, car and bike rentals few steps to the nice sandy beach.Only I suggest to put a stick vacuum cleaner in the studio so we can keep

This accomodation was amazing and we were so glad we chose to stay there! It’s in the perfect location, 1 minute from the beach. There’s so much to do around and lots of things are in walking distance. The place was tidy and clean with utensils, etc, for cooking. We loved having access to a washing machine to do our laundry. Definitely recommend staying here - we would stay again!!

Perfect for us. Liked the separate bedroom instead of studio. Had everything we needed. Comfy and cosy and brilliant location. Sweet to come home too after a busy day doing nothing. Will return.

Perfect accommodation in a prime location at Muri Beach. So close to bus stop, cafe's, Museum, the Lagoon, Te Vara Nui Village, TEM shopping (food and alcohol including spirits), Captain Tamas Cruise and Koka Lagoon cruise. A few car/scooter hire places close by as well. Property Manager, Harry, was very attentive and available when and if needed. Recommend for couples.
