The Poooool the Host the rooooom Grand willlll be back
The place worked great for us (me, wife, 18 son). We didn’t have time to vacation as we were looking for a house and cars after returning from several years in Japan. The climate is great and the owners dog “Rose” is a friend to all. This was much better than a hotel. Thanks Sandy.
I can't recommend this location enough. It's close to San Diego and Temecula, it's gorgeous, the owner is super nice. My spouse and I felt immediately at home. The only noise was birds and the occasional helicopter. Super peaceful, and stores and restaurants a short 10m drive away. Absolutely lovely.
The owner is on site and a wonderful lady you might see her out walking her dog or keeping this property a magnificent fairy tale garden there are numerous hidden seating areas and the veiw of the mountains poolside are pretty great.
It was easy to settle in and to navigate the property, the area and the multiple other cities and now with min a 50-mile radius. The hostess is a creative, kind, energetic lady who works tirelessly to maintain an amazing property and to present the hilighta of the community and nearby towns. She even took us on 2 lovely tours and treated us to lunch. The only downside was that the pool is not heated and we.stayed too early in the year for it to be useable. The pool was a real bonus to me in booking this venue. However, I should not have assumed. Over all, a truly lovely space and perfect for honeymooners!
We spent 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. There were several paths to walk with beautiful views. Also, many areas where you could sit. The outside was festive with lights hung all around. It was too cold to swim but would be an ideal location for the summer. We would definitely return.
Sandra was the best host ever we felt like we were home not staying at someone’s else’s house. It was a great setting and so relaxing. Sandra always was ready to help us where ever I needed. Best ever!
Sandra was so kind and made our stay so peaceful in her beautiful home. We needed just exactly this. Thank you Sandra!
I do not even know where to start. I booked this getaway to be alone with my dog to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of my city on my birthday/valentine weekend. The host was very nice and responsive at first. I had booked 3 nights from Friday to Monday. I was honestly really needing this getaway and looked forward to it. I arrived around 8:30 pm on Friday. The weather was freezing and it was rainy. The place was cold. Sandra showed me around and explained to me the rules of the stay. She was very specific about not leaving the heater on during the night and other important information. The place is a little outdated but ok. She has many rules to be followed. However, she does not like you to turn on the heater and even lowered the hot water temperature. My stayed was HORRIBLE as I was freezing all night and couldn't even take a warm shower to warm up. She has one tiny, cheap single heater that is not even enough to warm up the bathroom. I was so uncomfortable, cold, and unable to do anything about it in the middle of the night that I decided to get out of there as early as I could. I was not able to rest all night due to the cold weather and lack of hot water. I was up most of the night so I decided to get up at 6am and got out of there the next morning. I informed Sandra that due to the inconvenience of not having hot water or heating I was not able to stay there any longer. She apologized and insisted that I should have told her. However, this would mean that I would have woken her up any where between 1-5am. As a guest I did not feel comfortable going out there in the middle of the morning to knock on her door. Hot water and heating are essential and a host should provide them without refraining from what this could cost. She emailed me apologizing and say she would refund me the two nights I did not use. However, she has now had a change of heart and is refusing to do so. She claims that her policy does not allow for refunds. I completely understand this should this had been a problem I had cause or I decided to not use my stay for other reasons. I feel it is the responsibility of the host to make sure that their guests have the basic essentials for a comfortable stay. This was an issue caused by the host and now she refuses to offer me a refund for the two nights. I was kind enough to accept two nights when in reality she should be refunding me for the entire stay as my night was horrible due to her being so cheap.
Sandra is extremely accommodating and allowed us to drop off food prior to check-in. We love to cook, but, I would say that pots and pans definitely need to be upgraded. Absolutely beautiful scenery, so make sure to take some amazing pictures. You really don't need to leave the home, since the property is 2.7 acres. I definetly recommend the stay.
