Also, if you need a place to put up your horses, we have 4 corrals w/ water. Contact for additional charges.

Nice quiet and cozy place about 3 miles outside of town. Very secluded, very comfortable. We loved the dog welcoming committee. The first night was good, however the second night a raccoon had chewed through the power line on the pole so we had no electricity for lights OR water. The property has a well with a pump so we had no way to shower the next morning or (even worse) flush the toilet. This was not a situation the host could have avoided…. Seriously….a raccoon? Ha. I’m not sure the cost of a generator but it sure would have been nice that night!

First off the hosts were on top of all requests and emails!! They were able to let us know closest and best grocery store to stop by on our way from Bozeman airport Albertsons in Livingston!! . Very helpful!!Also places to eat in Big Timber and not too far away. This is 10 min from town but easy driving and no traffic. :) The grounds and lawn were neat and tidy freshly mowed and watered. The quiet a peacefulness so appreciated. The beds and couch comfortable. Plenty of bath towels and kitchen ware available to use. 2 camping chairs to use. The Yellowstone River access with a launch ramp and picnic area is a 5 min drive between the bunkhouse and town. Enjoy

The Bunkhouse is at an incredible scenic location on a very cool and well kept property. Loved our stay. Few things to improve on; there were a fair amount of moths roaming around the bunkhouse. Not an infestation level event, but enough that I accidentally brought one to old faithful inn in my luggage. Also, a rail on the top bunk would have been handy for our young kids at night.

We loved our stay at the bunkhouse. It has a beautiful view and it well stocked. It’s not far from both - the crazy mountains for great hiking, and the lovely town of big timber where we had a pickle pepperoni pizza!

I think this is my favorite of all the VRBO rentals we've done over the years. Certainly my favorite in the Big Timber area! The Bunkhouse is about 6 miles from downtown Big Timber. Four of those miles are on a gravel road, but it's a good condition gravel road. It's on a working cattle and horse ranch, surrounded by other ranches. Rather scenic for ranch land, with gentle rolling hills and groves of trees. It has a nice rock driveway that keeps your shoes clean even if it's raining. The cabin has a nice grass yard. There is a drainage ditch separating the cabin yard from the owners' home. We did most of our cooking on the small Weber gas grill. The grill is big enough to grill two large steaks or four large burgers. For a grill with a single burner, it cooks more evenly than I expected. The owners gave us privacy, but they were very friendly when we walked over to talk with them. Nathan tipped his hat when he shook my wife's hand, which really impressed her.

Despite our exteme lateness in getting to the Bunkhouse (3:30 am) due to unforeseen travel glitches, we loved our brief stay overnight. Everything is sparkling clean and comfortable. Outdoors, you'll be greeted by a sunken green lawn area and rolling green hills across the road. It's a bit of a drive over a dirt road outside the town of Big Timber, but your'e rewarded by a cozy dwelling at the end. We'd gladly stay again if we arrived while it was light enough to enjoy the stay!

This was my best experience with Vrbo! I want to say it was awful just so nobody else books it so I can have it to myself!!! The communication with the owner was almost instantaneous. The Cabin was extremely clean, exactly as described. It’s a little closer to the gravel road than I was expecting, but I spent a lot of time on the front porch and I think I saw three cars go by so not an issue. There were plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable.A++++++

Stayed here with my daughter on the way to visit my son in Bozeman. The bunkhouse was very clean and very comfortable. Our dog was excited to see some dog friends there to welcome him :) It was very convenient to take the dog for an early morning walk right out the front door and watch the sun rise. We would stay here again for sure!
