Room was nice and comfortable.

We arrived early and the room was already available. The owners were incredibly prompt and friendly in communication, including ordering a cab for me when my departure plans required it. WiFi was available throughout as was air conditioning. The veranda was peaceful to hangout at and the location was incredibly convenient.

Walking distance to most museums and historical spots. Several quality restaurants nearby. Room was cozy and quiet. Great way to round out our 17 days in Portugal.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days. The property was amazing as well as the owners. Very close to Belem and so much todo! Had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Our Benguela garden suite has to be the quirkiest and most charming guest house we have ever stayed in. Set in a beautiful garden and a brilliant location. Spotlessly clean room and pet friendly. With free on street parking directly outside. Super efficient and friendly manager, Ricardo, who was waiting to welcome us. A hidden gem in Belem. Thank you for hosting us. Highly recommended.

This was our favorite stay in Portugal. The beautiful property is close to many sights, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The room was clean and had beautiful artwork and furniture. Would absolutely recommend!

Building is located behind monastery in Belem. Could not have asked for a better location. Uber is super cheap in Lisbon so can take ride to other places. Ricardo is great and very helpful. Would stay here again.

Just wanted to write a review on the beautiful and charming Gerninmo Guesthouse. First off I booked this place coming to Lisbon for the first time and wanting something a little more homey. Belem seemed close to Lisbon and from the photos the place looked charming. It was first time in Portugal so I really had limited knowledge of the area. I was little worried when I got out of the airport and my taxi driver couldn’t find but boy was I pleasantly surprised when I got there. Ricardo the checked me in and showed me all in the out of the place included giving me my first official espresso. I knew instantly I would be in safe hands. Everything I needed was on the property and it had the full enemiteis including Wi-Fi, tv, and controllable air control. I had the luck of making two separate bookings for the place so having two separate rooms and they were both wonderful. I was happy booking this place it made my vacation having a place homely to come back to especially as solo traveler. Cannot say enough about the place. And cannot wait to to come back
