Beautiful Montparnasse-Raspail room in freestone building in Paris

I was in Paris for just a few days, and this booking provided all that I needed. The location was exactly where I wanted to be. I had a private room with attached bathroom and my own WC, the bed was very comfortable and the area was very quiet. The host was very friendly and accommodating.

It was an enjoyable stay in an excellent location. I feel the listing was inaccurate because it did not explicitly mention that this was a shared apartment with the owners. Although the hosts were out of town, we would not have stayed here if we had known that there was a chance of not being alone. However, we ended up being alone and it was a good stay in a very safe building.

Nathalie as very friendly and great communicator, Apartment is large, we had it to ourselves. We were checked in by a property manager, who was on site when we arrived. This apartment is very central, but it feels very much like a non-touristy pocket...that said, touristy areas are just a short walk away. We were there for Roland Garros and then to Bordeaux. I can say my two favorite meals on this trip were 5 minute walks from this apartment...1. Les closerie des lilas and 2. STAND. Les Closerie was recommended by a friend who's been going to paris since the 70's...excellent seafood and I especially like the Sweetbread. This was a new dish to me, but it was simply amazing...melted in the mouth. The scallops were insanely good as well....along with a very friendly staff. STAND we went to by mistake not realizing it was an American/Italian joint (we're from the US). BUT we overwhelmed with how delicious the salads were. I had the chicken caeser and seriously it made me want to cry. The wines were perfect as well. All the tastes were so well designed, every bite was as good or better than the last. Back to the apartment, check in an out was easy, everything worked. The bed was VERY comfortable and the sheets were VERY clean...no bedbugs here! Thanks Nathalie and Francois!

Excellent location and wonderful place to stay

Perfect location and a tremendous host. A really phenomenal apartment to use as base for a Paris trip, and a host that made everything super easy. Great experience

Nathalie and Francois are great hosts...friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They are very respectful of their guest’s privacy. In summary, It was like staying with old friends. The room is comfortable, the facilities very modern and clean, and a great location. I look forward to staying here again.

This is a cute apartment in a great location! You are right next to a metro stop and tons of cafes really close. Plus just a short walk to Luxembourg gardens. I believe it was listed as having the whole space to yourself which it actually isn’t. The owner lives there so it is a shared space with sharing kitchen, living area and toilet. You do have a private shower and bedroom though. The apartment is very cute and has everything you need. Also there is an elevator but it’s a bit squishy. We had a great time and the apartment definitely suited our needs!

Tons of great restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Incredibly easy to go anywhere in Paris or even to Versailles from this location. If you want to stay in a beautiful, upscale, typical French style apartment you won't be disappointed. And the plumbing is top notch - I wish our plumbing in the U.S. looked that sleek and modern and worked so smoothly. We had a great time!
