Escape into the heart of wine country on our lush thirty acre working vineyard with panoramic views of rolling vineyards and luxurious amenities. Our separate two bedroom two bathroom Guest House is furnished with many works of art from around the world with luxurious French Country flare. Enjoy a glass of wine on the sun splashed second story terrace while the birds dance in the vineyard and the fountain bubbling below. Welcome home!
This property is very nicely furnished and has spectacular views. We spent most of our free time and meals sitting on the patio enjoying the scenery. The furniture is high quality, the kitchen is nicely furnished, and the WiFi is just fine for streaming and working. . Dispute what the listing says, all consumables and niceties are provided. In the beginning is was a little slow making contact with the property manager to confirm the reservation because we were booking last minute, but once connected communication was great. This really is a working vineyard so just be aware that work starts at 3 in the morning. Which most of the time is very unobtrusive if you have the windows closed. The work shed is right next to the guest house but the two friendly workers and respectful and stay out of the way. Be aware that there are friendly cats that hang out on the patio. Which was great for our group that loved cats but tough on those in our group that have allergies. The location is great with easy access to wineries. We would absolutely stay here again.
We loved the 360 views! Kitchen had all the amenities and beds were very comfortable. We absolutely love the area and have already recommend this property to friends. The bonus for out girls were the cats that roamed around the grounds.
The views were the best. The property was clean, but didn't totally work for us because our older dog couldn't go up the slippery stairs, so we kept having to carry him. We wish there had been a guest bathroom downstairs since every time we needed to use it, our dog wanted to follow us upstairs. Chocolates on the pillows are a nice touch. We are spoiled with our beds at home, so to us, the beds could be softer. Bathrooms a bit cramped for our taste. Too isolated for a teenager, but a cozy place. Love the balcony outside bedrooms for view. Beautiful breeze also.
A great, relaxing stay with beautiful views and a perfect setup for a pair of couples or a small group. Thanks!
We love NAPA Valley. This was our first trip to Paso Robles and what a gem. We enjoyed our trip a lot with our boys. The Guest House, at Aterno, was the cherry on top. The hilltop view. The fact that its a working vineyard. The Story of the place, we read about in the Guest Book. We enjoyed it thoroughly and we can't wait to come back.
Stunning spot overlooking the hills and vineyards near Paso Robles. We spent most evenings with a glass of wines and snacks on the upper deck enjoying the view and snacking on fresh grapes we were allowed to pick from the trellis where we parked. So relaxing. So good for the soul. On a more practical side: the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable with soft sheets and good quality towels. Communication with the property manager was easy and she was very responsive. Some things to be aware of: it's 15 to 20 minutes to town on windy roads. There are a number of high quality wineries within a few minutes, so it's easy to do a few tastings in a day. It's a working vineyard so there are people on the property very early in the day. We slept with the windows open and it wasn't really a problem, just something to be aware of. Internet was fine for email and social media but struggled a bit with streaming. It's in the country, away from city broadband, so that's not too surprising and about what we expected. We really enjoyed our stay here. I hope life gives us the chance to come back one day!
We had a really nice stay and were very comfortable. The vistas are really beautiful and we had a fun time watching the bunnies, the vineyard cats, and all the birds hanging out around the house. It might not be a great property for folks with mobility issues as the only bathrooms are upstairs. Some of the appliances were on the fritz, but nothing major. You can very clearly hear people on other properties nearby, which destroys the peace of the vineyard a bit, but there was a loud wedding party on a nearby property and we could not hear them when we went inside.
The guest house was lovely- just as described. Beautiful view, comfortable beds, very pretty and clean. Thank you! Also was quite close to some very nice wineries.
Aterno Guesthouse was amazing! The views were unbeatable, the house cleanliness was top class. The nature, sunrise, sunsets, stars at night and peacefulness was so wonderful. We will be back:) Thank you too to Kelsey for all your help and tips on where to go and what to do. We were delighted we added in another night! Could have stayed a lot longer:)
My family and I stayed here for two nights and two days. It was a great view, but just keep In mind that if you do stay here this guest house is right near where the vineyard workers keep their equipment. We were awoken at 4:30 am to the sound of a tractor and workers continued through the morning, followed by more workers who came to do yard work on the same property. A little disappointed about the noisy And unexpected work during our stay.
