Two bedroom cottage-style guest house located in the center of one of Tampa's trendiest neighborhoods - Tampa Heights.
The cottage is located behind a main house on the property and includes full kitchen with cookware, utensils, plates/bowls/glasses, coffee maker, microwave, iron/board, smart T.V with Netflix, and WiFi.

The space
Our guest house is approximately 650 sq. ft. consisting of two bedrooms, one with a King size bed, and the second with a full size bed.

The location is literally minutes away from downtown Tampa, Raymond James stadium, Bush Gardens, Ybor City, Tampa's Channel District, and tons of trendy dining, bars, and shops. We're about 45 minutes drive to the Gulf beaches and 15 minutes from Tampa International airport.

There's a park directly across the street from the property with a playground, basketball courts, and softball fields.

Guest access
Guests enter via the double chain link fence on the North side of the main house. There's a pathway leading back to the private cottage.

Other things to note
-Our guest house is located in the back of the main house across the large back yard. Guests access the cottage via a side gate though to the back yard.
-Our strict no pets policy is due to a family member who stays with us frequently, who has severe and sensitive allergy to pet dander. Thanks for understanding.

I want a refund for cleaning services because the space was not cleaned well before I arrived. Lots of dirt and dust befind the beds, even a slats falling. Stains on upholstery dinning room chairs Table with cracks and ink drawings. Dusty window shades Closet door off hinges Stain toilet bowl cracked seat Bathroom tile molded Leaking priduct holder screw holes in bathroom walls dirty towel I would not stay again.

You do get what you paid for. You can tell that the owner isn’t consistently maintaining the property as some things are old or rusted. However, the owner does respond quickly and check in / out was smooth

The check-in instructions were inadequate, and we had to contact the host when we arrived. We were supposed to clean our dishes, but there was no sponge. The shampoo dispenser in the shower did not work. The place was old, but clean.

Nice place to stay perfect for going to the game. The one bed is only about 6 inches off the floor. Other than that wasn’t too bad..

Perfect for me and the kids. Less than 10 minute drive to the bucs stadium, where we went to see them play Philadelphia, Go Birds. The Wi-Fi wouldn't connect to our devices, the host got that taken care of the next day when he was able to.

The listing and pictures are not current. If you have the opportunity to visit before renting, please do so. The pretty red paint on the outside of the cottage is not dull and peeling, the outside walkway is cracked and unsafe. The couch and rug in the living room have been switched out for an older and much saggy and dirty one. The pots and pans are not fit for use. If you decide to stay, bring your own. The smoke detector was missing in the front bedroom and the other was disconnected. The refrigerator was moldy and rusty, the microwave was rusted, the toaster was greasy and so was the blender. The floors were grittiy and the broom tattered and old. There was mold on the kitchen sink behind the faucet. The oven was dirty. There was some type of leafy substance left behind in the wine cabinet by the front door. The chairs covers at the dining room table were stained and dusty. The coffee table and all of the night stands in the bedrooms were water damaged. There was a musty weird smell inside with an failed attempt to cover up using Fabuloso. Their was hair in the front bed when the covers were pulled back. The white curtains had brown stains on them. The bathtub had mold in the grout. The outside patio/carport was super dirty and moldy and all of the bricks were falling down or caving in, there is a large hole in the patio area that with a piece of rotting wood over it. Neighorhood felt a little unsettling. I have tons of pictures. Happy to share form 3-14-2025.

I stayed at this VRBO rental with my family and want to provide an honest review. The rental is fairly priced compared to others in the area. It’s located centrally, making it convenient for activities around Tampa. However, the neighborhood is definitely unsettling. It is quiet but in a lower-income area. The rental is accessed through a side gate. It is about 300 feet to the front door over uneven stepping stones with the exterior of the cottage being a bit rundown. We had issues with getting the door code but the owner was quick and helpful. On entering, there is a musty smell, likely from moisture or mold, which did improve with airing out. The interior was neat with basic appliances and a new thermostat system. The living area had a comfortable couch and TV. The floor and walls seemed freshly updated. The first room, w/ queen bed, was very low to the ground which was ok for my kids. However, the king bed in the master was uncomfortable, with a sagging mattress and stained sheets. The frame around it is falling apart. The outside lights stayed on all night, which disturbed sleep. The bathroom was clean and functional. The toilet required a long hold to flush. No mirror in the master but 2 in the bathroom.Despite these issues, we were able to enjoy our stay. The biggest drawbacks were the smell, the poor condition of the king bed, and the neighborhood, while the benefits included low cost and a great location. Would I stay again? Maybe, but I’d consider the drawbacks.
