It is evident that the hosts put much time and effort into creating a very clean and comfortable environment for their guests. The accommodations and the location are excellent! I have no complaints and absolutely no reservations in recommending this property.

The carriage house was BEAUTIFUL! We stay recently under difficult circumstances for a family funeral and Chris made the stay effortless. The location was ideal and within walking distance of cute restaurants. The property itself was immaculate, modern and beautifully appointed. We will definitely stay there again when the need arises to be in Louisville. Thanks Chris and Paulo!

Really great place. Awesome location, high end finishes, attentive host. Fully functional kitchen for a week’s stay. Everything we needed.

Paulo greeted us and even helped me carry my heavy piece of luggage up to the house. Inside, the place was immaculate. It was equipped with everything you would need. We brought our own laundry detergent and dryer sheets but they had it all. Large shampoos and conditioners and body soap was a nice welcome. The kitchen had a regular coffee pot, which we used since I brought my own coffee but it also had a Keurig machine if you want to bring your pods. We felt like we were in our own place. We were only a block away from where our daughter is currently living and that was a huge bonus. We loved walking Cherokee Park among other parks in the Louisville area and seeing the beautiful autumn landscape. I will definitely come back to stay here if they’re not totally booked. Loved it.

Great space. Private and quiet. Parallel street parking is the only downside but we found a spot no problem.

Property was better than the photos...multiple twin mattresses available for accommodating guests. Paulo was a fantastic host.Modern appliances with clear labels and instructions. Honestly, likely my best Vrbo experience yet! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The location was excellent, within walking distance of many options to eat and discover. It is nestled inside a quiet and friendly neighborhood. I felt quite safe there. The Internet was strong, it was clean and tidy inside, and the beds were super comfortable. There were laminated instructions for anything that you may need and it was very easy to contact the host. The amenities included what one might need for a long weekend. We will definitely be staying here again.

This is one of the nicest VRBOs I've stayed in!! It's in a beautiful neighborhood and to access it, behind the main house, is to walk through a lovely back yard. It was bitterly cold during this trip; so I can only imagine the fully leafed-out trees in spring and summer. The apartment itself is thoughtfully laid out and furnished. I really liked the kitchen design with its up-and-away upper cabinet doors.Parking was a breeze out front, and there are plenty of quirky shops, restaurants and coffee shops within a 5-minute drive. I really liked Seviche for Cuban food, and Quills for coffee. Downtown is about 10 or 15 minutes away; same for Old Louisville. Paulo, the host, was very prompt in answering the few questions I had.I look forward to returning to explore more of the area. It was just too cold, unfortunately, to do much walking about, during my four-day stay. Without reservation, I would stay in Paulo's carriage house again!

The Carriage House is very nice and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. We came for a conference and hope to be back next year. If so, we will definitely be checking to see if the Carriage House is available for our stay. Paulo was an excellent host as well.

The property was incredible. The inside immaculate, homey, every need met. Paulo is a loving, kind, generous man, who communicates beautifully and was an excellent support to me especially in my checking out process. He was a big help. I love good communication and he is definitely one of my people in this regard. My only challenge was the steps as I am 84 and not very strong in body at this time. If steps aren't an issue, I highly recommend Paulo's Carriage House. He is a joy as is his property.

Property was very well taken care of. Clean and stocked extremely well. I felt safe walking to nearby eateries.

This place was just great. One of the best rentals I've even stayed in. Everything is clean, organized, and easy. I would stay here again in a second.

The online pictures don't do this place justice. This place was beautiful and perfect for me and my family! The couches and beds were comfy and we loved the high ceilings! The porch was our favorite with the lovely view of the garden and huge trees! Paulo was also a great host making sure we had everything we needed! Appreciate all the notes around the house about light switches and what was in the cabinets. Also appreciated having an assortment of spices on hand in the pantry. Thank you for having us!!!
