Perfect getaway for 2. The name of the cottage honors the local area of Grapetown. Crossing thru a cedar privacy screen takes you to this native stone cottage crafted by a local artisan and features antique doors with layers of turquoise, exposed wood.
The living area has TV / DirecTV, a leather loveseat, dinette and stocked kitchen. There are beautiful views from in and out. A copper heating grate and a transom window are featured.

Stayed May 2, 2025My husband and I stayed at Grapetown for my birthday and it was the perfect escape. It was isolated and quiet, but not too far from Fredericksburg. We got to enjoy the stars from the hot tub at night and enjoy the property during the day. Please stay here!

Stayed Feb 7, 2025We went for our honeymoon as we got married that day. We wanted something private that had a hot tub. Let me just say that the pictures and description doesn’t do it justice! It was more delightful than expected and it was tough to leave. We enjoyed seeing the cows every day and they have definitely thought of everything when they designed/decorated this place. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back! The only drawback was half the jets worked in the hot tub but it didn’t matter as it was just the 2 of us and if that’s the only drawback as picky as we are, then that’s a home run! Beautiful romantic place!

Stayed Nov 2, 2023Perfect for a couples get away and to explore Fredericksburg and surrounding area. It was cozy, comfortable and clean. I highly recommend Timber Rose Ranch for a place to stay all day, or as base camp to explore from.

Stayed Feb 16, 2023Would visit again. Quick communication and super neat cottage. The drive is a bit from Fredericksburg so spending some relaxing time at the place each day of our trip was a perfect fit!
