Fully renovated house with country privacy yet still close to Ithaca.

Host was welcoming. Place is child friendly and safe. Had to get a fire starter. Showers were confusing. Nice views.

House was perfect for our group of 5. It conveniently located to Ithaca college and downtown Ithaca. Host was very responsive to any inquiries we had. Wish we had known about this house sooner.

Overall nice and fully functional. Run down in spots, but nothing critical. Good stay!

Check.-in couldn't be easier. Kitchen has everything you need. I was very happy to see there was an air fryer. This is our 2nd year here and am looking forward to next year's stay. Very comfortable home away from home.

Nice location, close to State Parks. House was clean and set up for a relaxing stay. The host was great!

The upstairs layout is a tiny bit funky. (Watch out for the TV screen in the 2nd double-bed bedroom.) A/C held its own despite hot weather.Really nice house and location to stay outside Ithaca but still be close to state parks and other attractions. 5 stars for cleanliness and first floor living space.The hostess was very accessible to answer our questions.Thanks very much!

The location is excellent - a quiet, lovely spot that feels secluded and private, but just a short drive to downtown. The house was very comfortable - good amenities, clean, comfortable beds, nice and cool. We did have a piece of furniture break while we were there, but the host came right away to give it a temporary fix so we could still use it for the weekend, and said they would get it replaced after. The host was very communicative, check in/out was very seamless. We had a great stay!

Great location for excursions in and around Ithaca. Right size and amenities for our group.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is a good place, very close to the finger lakes area. Communication by the host was top notch.

The house was as shown in the photos. It was in a great location, close to many places we wanted to visit. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you might need. The only negative thing I could say about the house is that the mattress in the guest bedroom was really uncomfortable. Other than that, we didn’t have any other issues. It was easy to contact with host and they were very friendly.

From the outside, the house is beautiful! The location is gorgeous as well! Unfortunately, the house was not cleaned well before we arrived. The oven was very dirt, rug in living room not vacuumed, sheets had a misty order. I understand the house is in the country but did not expect to see so many spiders and webs around the house. Ran into a mouse in the house too

We planned a weekend vacation to Ithaca to visit the many waterfalls around the area but did not want to stay in a congested area. The home was lovely and we enjoyed waking up to the nature in the back yard. There were many deer and large birds. The only issue was the water pressure on the rain head in the downstairs bath, but that may have been operator error. I definitely appreciated the comfy bed after hours of walking. The Cornell botanical gardens are worth a visit as well.

We stayed at this lovely home which was a mile from our son's wedding venue The Stratton Creek Inn which Im giving a shout out to as well. It worked out perfect for my husband and I and our daughter and son-in-law with their 3 small children as a home base for naps and baths and bedtime. One bedroom has two large bunk beds which was perfect for a family and the garden tub with the tv was by far my grandsons favorite part of the entire wedding weekend. Its a quiet rural setting which is what we are used to and appreciate. I would highly recommend this home for any stay close to the Ithaca area.

Nice location but musty and dirty

This is a great place to stay. We were comfortable with 4 adults and 3 kids. There were a couple of issues, but the owners responded back quickly and remedied the situation. It is also about an hour from Watkins Glen, Ithaca and Corning, so we were always out and about. Overall, It was a great place to stay and we will be returning next time we visit the Finger Lakes.

This property is what a perfect getaway should be.

Excellent location and friendly host. Only issue we had was that we did not realize there were no laundry facilities on the property, something we did not check for when booking. Otherwise, it was a lovely place.
