Imagine enjoying the bustle and fun of Michigan’s Little Bavaria and then returning to your quiet, private, secluded farmhouse to relax. That’s the scenario that awaits you at Holiday Haven, where you don’t have to leave Frankenmuth’s Christmas joy behind because you’ll find touches of it throughout the house – and even an entire Christmas bedroom. You’ll enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, games, TVs in most bedrooms, firepit, fast Wi-Fi, and more – all just 1.5 miles from downtown Frankenmuth.

Frankenmuth Christmas Farmhouse is the perfect blend of farmhouse charm and year-round holiday cheer, where groups of up to 10 – 14 with sleeper sofa – will find a private, tranquil retreat on 3 acres surrounded by farmland. In step with Frankenmuth as home of Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland, the world’s largest Christmas store, you’ll find jolly nods to Christmas throughout the home and a full Christmas bedroom.

You’ll be welcomed by the porch’s festive lights as you step into Holiday Haven via convenient keyless entry and feel the warm ambience of farmhouse décor. Make your way through the kitchen and dining room to the living room with its ample comfortable seating, natural light pouring in through floor-to-ceiling windows, and calm, soothing surroundings.

Catch the game and movies on the 58” living-room TV, or have a blast playing board games.

At mealtime, prep and cook your favorite recipes in the cheery kitchen with its pops of Christmas flair, including a decked-out farmhouse bench. You’ll find all the major appliances you need – stove/oven, refrigerator (a second one is in the laundry area), dishwasher, and microwave – along with toaster, blender, and all the cookware, ovenware, dishware, flatware, glassware, and utensils you need to prepare and serve meals.

Grab your morning hot beverage from the large coffee bar, where you’ll find all the coffee/tea fixings, along with snacks.

Dine in the kitchen’s charming eat-in area with seating for four as you take in the rural landscape through the large window. Or gather the group in the spacious dining room at the farmhouse table for eight. Enjoy the whimsical stocking and reindeer decoration and natural light through the window.

Outside, you’ll find a large, fenced yard, where kids and doggies can have a romp, and the group can play cornhole or make memories around the firepit. Relax on outdoor seating and cook on the gas grill.

After a full day enjoying all the Bavarian and Christmas fun Frankenmuth has to offer – or just hanging out relaxing in the peaceful and secluded Holiday Haven – head for a restful night’s sleep in your choice of five bedrooms.

In the light, bright downstairs bedroom, you’ll find a queen bed, bedside tables with lamps, 32” TV, and storage.

Head upstairs, and discover a bunk room, where kids and adults alike will enjoy the pops of Christmas on the twin bunk beds.

Next up is the primary bedroom offering a king bed with sumptuous linens, along with plenty of storage including a full-size closet, bedside table with lamp, TV, and the convenience of an ensuite bathroom with tub/shower combo, hair dryer, makeup towels, and all bathroom essentials.

You’ll find a queen bedroom next, complete with 32” TV, natural light, and a workspace for any remote-work needs.

For Christmas lovers, a special holiday-themed bedroom awaits, providing two full-sized beds decked out in Christmas finery. You’ll find abundant storage and a Christmas tree that brightens up a corner of the room.

You’ll also find a full-size sleeper sofa in living room to accommodate additional sleeping needs.

I want to address the positives of this property: It is a farmhouse! It was very comfortably temperature controlled; it provided several rooms for sleeping. There were plenty of towels in bathrooms. Negatives:I could not check in until 4:00 pm because the “cleaning crew “ would be there. We arrived at the property at 2:00 pm nobody was there. Trash cans were left at the street. We returned at 4:00 pm. We went into the property and the back screened door was missing the piston which held the door open, the house had not been cleaned. In the dining room there was old dried shredded cheese on the floor. There were bugs on the floors. The kitchen was missing a cabinet door, and the house had well water. This was not in the description of the house. We had to go and buy bottled water so we could have coffee and tea. The main bedroom had dog hair in the bed, the lake room had 3 lamps but only one worked. The downstairs bathroom had a shower curtain that was so long it plugged the drain. The living room tv remote only had one battery and it was the wrong remote for that TV. This property lacked details. I addressed the issues with the host on the day we checked in, he wrote back he would address these issues with his cleaning crew. the next morning I received an automated message asking how was my first night? The next day I received an automated message saying if I could not give a 5 star review to let the host know and they would fix it. Nothing was fixed

We were looking for a short getaway and Frankenmuth did not disappoint! These hosts were very responsive and made our trip so smooth! The fenced in yard was perfect for our fur baby. This place was super close to town and there was a ton of fun things to do from driving around to see the lights to eating at the local restaurants. Will absolutely be coming back and staying here!

The house gave off a nice homey vibe. We spent Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, and it was perfect for our family get together. The fenced in back yard was nice for the fur babies. There was plenty of room for everyone to have a little quiet place if needed. Great location.

The place is cute, but the photos were deserving. The thermostat was set to 90 degrees when we arrived! The upstairs shower doesn’t drain. Overall cleanliness could improve. The host was responsive to questions.

It was not horrible, but we felt our stay was definitely 2 star. The reasons: 1. Whoever did the photos and staging for the website is brilliant. It was made to look much better than what it is. 2. The bunk bedroom is really only useable for young kids. We were going to use for our teenage daughters, but it was just too small. 3. The stairs are very steep. Two of our family members are over 80, making that a challenge. So, if you have similar issues, know that only the downstairs bedroom would work. 4. There were some dirty areas. As example, a shelf with coffee cups was very dusty. That along with bad water led to us going to get coffee every day instead of using the machine. 5. The main issue was horrible smelling water. The home is a couple of miles out of town. Therefore, I assume this might be on well water. You could see bad rust stains in the sinks/showers. On day one, the smell was awful, like bad eggs, and only improved slightly with use. It was so bad that we used bottled water to brush our teeth. 6. I am only 5' 7 and the shower spouts are shorter than me. Therefore, water sort of flowed at you, not over. Also, the ceiling space in the showers is very small. Anyone over that height would have to shower slightly bent over. We should also mention the positives. It did have a quant feeling, especially if you have ever spent any time in an early 1900s style farm home. The property manager also communicated well.

Stayed over a long weekend in Frankenmuth rather than staying in the waterpark hotels. Having a kitchen and backyard firepit to work with is so much nicer than being in hotel rooms. We took the kids to the waterparks during the day, then had a home to go back to for dinner and the evenings. Location was great, lots bedrooms/beds to work with, everything was clean upon arrival. Just be aware it is an old farmhouse out in the country, so well water and limited speed wifi are in the mix. Overall a great stay, and reasonably priced for how many guests it can support comfortably.

This property was in a great location. It is a beautiful older farm house. On arrival, the house was very clean and it gave the feeling of going home. The check in process was wonderful. The decor throughout the house made it feel welcoming. I would recommend this house to any of my friends or family that was taking a vacation in this area. My two puppies really enjoyed the house as well!! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home on our mini vacation
