Discover the beauty of Wilmington from this newly renovated 3-bedroom farmhouse. It's not a hotel or B&B. The bedrooms feature a king bed, 2-twin beds, and a queen bed, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests. With amenities like WiFi, AC, and a washer/dryer, charcoal grill on the deck--convenience is at your fingertips. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything southern Ohio and our quiet farmhouse has to offer. This darling, completely renovated house is situated on a grass runway (2B6) which is a public /privately grass field. Runway is 3200'x80' and with well maintained grass. Small planes may be tied out at the house or request a hangar rental (additional). It’s quiet with minimal activity. While it is lovely, remember that this is a Farm. It is clean and well appointed, but not luxury. The price is based on its location-runway & hunting preserve.
The house is located on Cherrybend Pheasant Farm, a pheasant hunting preserve in operation since 1954. Guests may schedule to pheasant hunt from Oct.1-Mar.31st. Summer activities include sporting clays and wobble station.
We are 10 miles from the World Equestrian Center. One hour from Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati. Please review the amenities list: we provide a start of TP and laundry soap. Again, this is not a hotel. :) Our home is yours while you are here!

There was plenty of room for the six of us to start and end the day together. The open floor plan for the kitchen, dining and living areas was excellent. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have linens provided. Washer, dryer, microwave and dishwasher were nice perks. However, there were several things that could have made our stay more pleasant. We needed instructions for how to use the front door lock and better communication about arrival and the code to get in - I had to contact the host the day of arrival. We confirmed there was a coffee maker, but it wasn't there when we arrived. The host was responsive and had one delivered while we were out for dinner. We ran out of toilet paper and had to make a run to Walmart to get some.

We had a wonderful stay at Beth’s house! We were in town for a horse show at WEC and this was a great place to stay. Bonus, my trainer’s husband spent 2 days hunting at Cherrybend Pheasant Farm while we were are the show. The unit was very comfortable and inviting. Shout out to the super comfy beds! Would stay again

Overall the place was nice. Great size, and close to where we were going. I really like the counter space in the kitchen. The layout was nice and the bathrooms were well stocked with towels and tp. Directions to get there were clear and the owner turned the porch light on for us so it's be easier to find in the dark. Our only issues were:Water pressure - at one point the shower just stopped running when we were trying to get showered after a long day. There was a strong sulfur smell from the hot water that unfortunately did not disapate over time. It was clear no one had been in the house in a while because we found dead flies everywhere. I'd encourage them to do a quick clean if no one has been staying there for a while.

Host was very responsive to any question we had and more than accommodating. As for the house itself nice location super clean comfy beds and couch basically new inside including appliances floors etc. little old style enamel sinks and decor. Would recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay.

Beds and pillows were comfy, the place is lovely and in the country so it's quiet. They didn't have a microwave, so that's an issue if you're counting on it. The dishwasher didn't get the dishes clean. Water pressure was a trickle at times in the showers There was no hand soap anywhere and the master bathroom hadn't been cleaned or had been cleaned very poorly. The rest of the place was clean but it seemed that room was forgotten. It definitely worked for us, but there were some gaps.

I absolutely loved this house. The beds were super comfortable. House was spacious. Towels were soft. The house was basically brand new inside. We were in town for a Cedarville graduation. Not to far of a drive. Worked out great for us. Cannot say enough great things about the house. One of our best stays. Would keep on the list to go back if we are in the area again.Host was very responsive to questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Great place to stay! The first night was late when we got in and we were worried about it being a bit futher away from the WEC, but once it was daytime it doesn't seem to much further from the Holiday Inn we stayed at last year. Quiet place with lots of room.
