Farmhouse in Hopfgarten near Ski Bus

Heating in general is rather poor, except the water heating. Most rooms are equipped with infra red screens, which only heat very locally resulting in hot and cold spots where it is inconvenient to bring together 8 people. Living room is equipped with a stove that is very hard to regulate well. The entrance and staircase are centrally located in the house but cannot be heated as cold are is drawn in from the basement permanently. Kitchen is not designed for large groups: practically impossible to have spots for 8 people around the table. Dishwasher is very small, typical model for 2 people. Overal looks of the kitchen are outdated and worn out, examples are: missing panel below the oven and wood stove. Bathrooms: generally positive! As said: warm showers and bath every day for everyone. Bath mats are to be replaced as they look old/pale/miserable. Further: the dryer is defect, and there was no dedicated space to dry the skiing equipment. All in all, in my opinion the accommodation is extremely overrated with a price of allmost 3000 EUR for a week of renting. Too much crap, too little facilities...

Heerlijke week in een karakteristieke oostenrijkse woning, op 5 minuten rijden van de piste. Behalve de krakende trap een prima vakantie woning.

Schönes Haus, mit 2 Öfen, die mit Holz befeuert werden. In den anderen Zimmern Infrarotheizung. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Die Zimmer sind mit schön eingerichtet, die Möbel darin ziemlich neu. Lage direkt an der Skibushaltestelle (der fährt um 9:15 nach Hopfgarten).

Het is een gezellig boerderijtje in een zeer rustig stuk van Hopfgarten. Tot nu toe zijn we nog niemand Tegengekomen (3 dagen). Het huis is goed geoutilleerd. Alleen missen we overal door het huis haken of stangen om kleding / handdoeken aan op te hangen. Zonde dat al de verwarmingselementen zo hoog ophangen. Fijne dagen.

Ausstattung des Bauernhauses war gut. Nachteilig war, dass keine Terrasse auf der sonnigen Südseite vorhanden war. Auf der Terrasse nordseitig war es außerdem sehr laut aufgrund der anliegenden Straße und des vorbeifliessenden Baches.

The house was spacious and clean, with plenty of room for our group of friends, We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and enjoyed cooking together, The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even better

Altes und prima saniertes Bauernhaus. Alles war Bestens und der Kachelofen schwenkte solide Wärme! Tolle Schlafzimmer und schöne Bäder.

Bei unserer frühen Ankunft war das Haus gerade noch in der Reinigung. Wir konnten jedoch sehr zeitnah und eher als geplant das Haus beziehen.
