Historic Ocean Express farmhouse is located on 7 quiet wooded acres adjacent to Camden Hills State Park. Trails can be accessed from across the street and the trailhead is at the end of the road past the winery. Built in 1911 the house was completely renovated in 2003 but retains it's historic charm. Stayed Aug 16, 2025The property is excellent! Absolutely beautiful and true to the listing. The entire family had a wonderful time. My grandchildren and dogs enjoyed the paths through the backyard pasture. The adults enjoyed the close proximity to Cellardoor Winery, which is a short walk down the street. The house is in close to several beaches, and downtown Camden and Rockland.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025The property was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen that we were able to make family meals in. Check-in and contact with the hosts was very easy. The house was very comfortable and spacious for our multi generational vacation. Beautiful garden. We loved the natural meadow. 10 minute drive to Camden, and 5 minute drive to Lincolnville Beach. We located for exploring the area.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024Our stay was nice. The one drawback was Maine ( as was the rest of the coast ) was experiencing a brutal heatwave. The house does not have A/C and even with fans it was insufferable. Had the weather been normal Maine weather it would have been perfect. I had my dog with me and ticks were very present. Make sure your dog is treated before arrival. Camden is just a short drive away as well as some small beaches and refreshing water play. The house has a large ample parking area for at least three vehicles.
