Buon Riposo - Farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany, two bedrooms house - free wifi

We stayed a week at the charming and very well maintained Azienda Buon Riposo in July 2023. This was our 6th visit to an Agriturismo in Tuscany. Buon Riposso has everything to offer when in search for a totally relaxing location in the midst of the most fertile and breathtaking nature of Tuscany. Situated on a hill, so overlooking the beautiful landscape and always a nice breeze of fresh wind joining the warmth of this region. The typically Tuscan style decorated and impeccable apartment with airco in the living room is accompanied by a very large and well kept swimming pool (8x15 mtrs), BBQ possibilities, laundry, shaded parking and within a 15 minutes drive from 2 large supermarkets. Each apartment has their own sun loungers and parasol at the pool, so you have always your own chairs available. Buon Riposo is located in the middle of several beautiful villages such as Vinci, San Gimmignano, Certaldo, Lucca, Volterra, Pisa, Florence. Max 1 hours drive. However, we have been most touched by the (English spoken) hospitality of Christiana and Sergio. They have shown various times how genuinely concerned they are with the wellbeing of their guests. They help, advise and take action when they feel they can make your stay even better or more comfortable.

We had a very nice holiday in Tuscany. The place is near to many intresting towns like Florence, Siena and Pisa. In the middle of Tuscany you can feel the real athmosphere of the countryside. Thank you!

We were greeted by the owner on a very pleasant way. She was very helpful before arrival and during our stay. The house was clean equipes with all of the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. The location and views are very beautiful and a lot of worthful places to visit nearby.

We had a 10 days trip there and enjoyed the time very much. Crisitana and her husband are lovely people and do excellent job to support their guest to enjoy the time at their residence. The house was well cleaned all equipment well worked. Swimming pool was clean and beautiful. One thing on top. They have a good White wine and olive oil. We tried both, enjoyed and ordered some to take away too. Very recommendable. Thank you very much family Genovesi for your hospitality and great time there.

Quietly wonderful place in the heart of the Tuscan, very polite owners, a wonderful swimming pool

Beautiful, peaceful spot with lovely hosts, great pool and while it’s not high end luxury accommodation it has a comfortable, traditional Tuscan style that works really well. No air con could be a challenge when it’s really hot but fans did the job fine for us. Do take insect repellent, we had a few horse flies late on in our stay. Well located for Pisa, Florence, Siena, Lucca; as long as you have a car pretty much everything is within an hour or so. This is clearly a place people go back to time after time and we could see why. We plan to return.

Beautiful setting. Lovely accommodation, nice and clean. A bit worried that there was no air con in a very hot August but air movement and use of shutters in the day kept the place at a reasonable temperature. Lovely pool which we used both in the day and floodlit at night. Easy access from Florence and Pisa by car. Lots to see in the vicinity.

Location perfect for trips to many key locations such as Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa but you definitely need a car! Very little in the nearby village but good restaurants a short drive away and plenty of supermarkets. We took the train to Pisa and Siena which was easy and the train station is a short drive away. The place had lovely views of the typical Tuscan countryside and the pool was super and greatly enjoyed by our 6 year old. Accommodation was functional and we liked the character of the buildings which had been converted from the old farm buildings. It was a heatwave when we were there so no air conditioning and a plague of mosquitoes made it a bit challenging at times! Had all the facilities we needed and enjoyed the Buon Riposa wine thanks!

Good location, in the contryside. Highly recemmendable for families.

The property is very comfortable and we'll set up. Clean accommodation, beautiful pool and outside areas. Great place to stay and relax. The only suggestion we would have is that the home away page suggested that property has washing machine, but in fact the whole complex had laundry room and each washing required 3euroes. This is not a problem but is better to know it in advance. I would recommend this accommodation without hesitation Irena and family
