Wonderful Lake Huron Family Cottage - Convenient Location - Great Internet

We enjoyed our stay and were impressed with the home. Only dislike was the need for grab bars in the showers/bath for disabled people.

Very nice and cozy, clean home. Beautiful lake view, short stroll to the beach. Very quiet, awesome getaway!

The rental was very clean with a great view of Lake Huron and a perfect location for our day trips. The area was quiet and comfortable for two couples looking for another memorable vacation.

We had no problem checking in, and when we had a plumbing issue, someone came immediately and fixed it. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, as well as sitting by the lakefront where there was a breeze during the day. Since there is no A/C and we had a heatwave, several fans were a life saver. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Nice washer and dryer. However, the linens and bed pillows are past their expiration dates and need replacing. There were only three sets of towels for two bathrooms, so more towels would be helpful. We bought two beach towels and donated them to the property. The master closet was locked, so there was no place to hang clothes. The guest bedroom had a small wardrobe, but only two hangers were provided. So if a closet is always inaccessible in the master, than a set of hooks on a wall would be helpful. And hangers for the guest room.

We had a great four night stay at this Lake Huron rental. It would be ideal for four people but we had five with the 5th person utilizing an uncomfortable futon in the living room. We ended up just using the couch cushions on the floor. Otherwise a good stay and we would go back.

What a great stay! From the moment we walked in everything was accessible. Easy check in as well. The owners even left us a little welcome goodie bag, which is a nice little touch upon arriving. The house was very clean, plenty of fans surrounding the house and amenities for us to use. The view of Lake Huron from the house is beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A very convenient place for visiting many attractions. We visited Mackinac Island, Charlevoix, Alpena and Sturgeon Bay on day trips. House was clean and comfortable. Wood paneling, cabinetry and sturdy furniture brought back great memories. We loved the easy beach access. The views from the house were fantastic.

We really enjoyed the feeling of a woodsy secluded property with incredible lake views. Just a 15 minute drive to Mackinaw City was perfect for us.

The cottage was perfect for our trip. Great location, right on the water and short drive to Headlands dark sky park, hiking and Mac Island.

Lovely, clean, well-appointed cottage with fantastic lakeside views and very easy deeded lake access. Delicious spring water from the tap. We’d definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Plenty of room ,kitchen had all we needed. The views of lake were nice. We were close to mackinaw city and other spots. Enjoyed bike path across the street was great. We did the bridge walk on Monday which was awesome we were double crossers. Walking on lakeshore was fun a relaxing place to hang out.

The home was very nice unfortunately we were in the middle of a heat wave even the lake breezes were not adequate for cooling. Access to the lake was a bonus! In our short stay we attended a concert in Cheboygan, visited Mackinac Island and the Soo Locks and also took a glass bottom boat ride out of Cheboygan. And of course had a beer ay Cheyboyagn Brewing!

Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your cabin. We had an amazing stay as it was the first time in the area for 3 of us. We would love to go up there again some day. The only thing my husband wished he had had was a closet for his shirts in the master bedroom.

We loved our stay at the Pine Tree Cottage. The view and accessibility to the water was perfect! You could see the Mackinaw bridge from the beach. It was such a cozy and cute home. Quintessential northern Michigan lake cottage. It had everything we needed for our stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very accommodating. Plenty of room for our two teenage kids to lounge and be comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. The close proximity to Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, and Cheboygan was PERFECT. We brought our two jet skis and enjoyed Mullet Lake as well. Great restaurants and bars nearby with 10 min drive. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our questions. Will definitely book this little gem again.

This is a big and beautiful property with a wonderful view of Lake Huron, just about 50 paces away from the beach. It is close to Cherboygan and Mackinaw City. We hated to leave. The sunrises are stunning.
