WINE COUNTRY RIVERFRONT RETREAT WITH SPA & VIEWS

The property indeed was a cabin in the redwoods next to the Russian River. The rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed being close to Healdsburg. My only problem with the stay was that the street was extremely dark at night and I found it uncomfortable walking the dogs in the dark.

Everything was as described, location was excellent for proximity to Healdsberg Square yet very quiet and private. Clean and ammenities as described. Gracious host with excellent communication. I would recommend this location, and i would hope to book again in the future.

Sweet comfy little cabin on the Russian River with all we needed for a relaxing peaceful stay. Although classic from the 1940's it is renovated with a new kitchen, PERFECT artwork for each room to reflect the mood. The dining area overlooking the river in the rear is AWESOME ! and if you take the time to sit up front and water the garden you can meet some of the permanent residents (like the tax man next door) who are delightful !Thanks Edrene, your instructions were spot on.

Everything about the home was perfect! We only wish we could have stayed longer. The house has everything you need - while we did not cook any meals there, I poked around to see what they have for next time. It seems to be fully outfitted. We had two cars, so having the garage as an option for one of the cars was great, since you're not supposed to park in the street. The washer and dryer in the unit were great. It allowed us to get a few things washed before heading to our next destination. There is an abundance of movies! We never turned on the TVs because we were so wiped out from all the activities that we did during the day. But the collection looked amazing, and everyone should be able to find something to watch. We loved the 80 year old cross stitch hanging in the living room. The hot tub was amazing! The lift system for the cover made it so easy to use the tub. We appreciated how private the area was. It didn't feel like we had neighbors peering at what was going on, allowing us to just relax and enjoy the space. The Buddha in the tree is very fun, especially in the evening with the light turned on. We used the hot tub several times during our stay. And the outdoor shower in the hot tub area was an added bonus!

Really nice. The house is at the end of a short but winding /narrow road, be very cautious. Very cute place. Delightful hot tub. Plenty hot. Sweetly decorated. Gorgeous deck overlooking the river. Clean, In good order, comfortable, and my doggie got to join which reduced stress a ton. We could hear the river and wanted to dip in but it was too high. Would stay again in a heartbeat. The redwoods were majestic.

We had a fabulous time at this California cottage by the Russian River. Towering redwoods surround it and the house is both charming and functional. Hope to return!

A spotless cozy cabin under redwoods overlooking the rushing Russian River. We would give it 5 stars, but the mattresses were so soft, we both woke up with backaches.

We loved this little getaway. Very relaxed and quiet. The view of the river is great. Amenities also very good. Hot tub was a nice plus. We only used one bedroom but both are decent and the bed we slept in was quite comfortable, and we slept deeply. While we were here during the rainy season (which makes the river fun to watch) we think it must be an even more amazing getaway during the warmer and drier seasons.

We loved our short stay on the Russian River. The cottage was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking over the river. The hot tub was a plus as it helped ease the muscle aches from our travel. The owner was in contact quickly when we had some questions. We had everything we needed and wished we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again if we were ever in the area.

Between the inner tubes and floating lazily on the river, watching the stars at night from the deck, or the lovely feeling from wine tasting during the day, this was a marvellous weekend. The kitchen was great to prepare meals, and the location near the river was fabulous.

The house is very clean and comfortable and located just where we wanted. The beach trail is not super easy to navigate for older folks but we got used to it over time. Neighbors were very friendly.

Calm comfortable spot on the river

Two couples went for extended weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The quiet cabin on the banks of the Russian River was so relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub surrounded by beautiful trees, the river views, time on the river shore and a quick float down the river in tubes. We also loved being so close to wine country and Healdsburg town for outings. Hope to return sometime.

Cozy, rustic place along a tree-lined bend in the Russian River. Our stay in mid-May with the dogs was great. With easy access, The dogs were able to play in the river. And the canary provides just enough shade. The house is as advertised. Would recommend.
