Perfect amount of space for our family weekend. The neighborhood was quiet, the house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the fire pit.

Overall it was a nice place - but there is definitely not enough room to sleep eight people. The pull out sofa in the pictures does not match the actual sofa - which is more like a child's day bed. We managed but it was not what we expected.The place is nicely done - plumbing, AC, washer/dryer, dishwasher all worked well.

Beautiful house. Nice and clean upon arrival. We had a wonderful time. Will be next years stay soon.

Completely enjoyed ourselves! Only concern was beach access being farther than we anticipated...we are seniors. Home had everything for an extended stay. We appreciated the cleanliness. Nice home.

Enjoyed our stay! Check-in was easy, and there were plenty of towels, supplies in kitchen, and space for my family and in-laws. We liked the peaceful, woodsy location and the natural light from the skylight windows upstairs.

Great place for a family, had enough room for everyone, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, close to town and beach, outdoor seating and fire pit.

Property was as described. Inside was clean. Check in was easy and cabin was well-appointed with supplies. Just wish the outdoor seating areas had been a bit cleaner. We had to use a broom to get off cobwebs, leaves, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. The cottage was clean and the bedrooms were all large. The recliners in the living room were nice. We weren’t a big fan of the loveseat sleeper for sitting as there were 4 adults and it’s very firm. Plenty of room for kids to run around outside. It is a bit of a walk to the beach area and down a slope. Due to an elderly person we had with us, we opted to use the county park beach which is large and only a mile or so away.Overall it was a nice stay.Btw- not sure why but there was no hot water in the main bathroom sink. Wasn’t a huge deal for us, but in case someone wants to check out why.

Great size for our family. Close to the beaches and Port Huron. Nice to have a yard for grilling, bonfires and enjoying some time outside.

The cottage was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything for our weekend! Loved it!

This cottage is cozy. With 3 bdrms and 2 bathrooms there is plenty of room for a family or 3 couples. The location was convenient to town and beaches.

My sisters and I rented whispering oaks cottage for a weekend. The cottage is spotless and has everything you need. All of the rooms and bathrooms were large especially the master bedroom. The host was extremely helpful and friendly and accommodated everything we asked for. We will definitely rent this cottage again

The house was well kept and a relaxing place to spend our weekend for our son’s marathon race. We would highly recommend this house. Thank you!

This is my second time staying here. My son and I had a great time exploring Caseville and Port Austin. This a great place with plenty for kids and grownups to do. I’m sure it’s great in the summer but it’s also great in the winter. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

We stayed for the witchwalk weekend. Perfect spot. We loved it.

The house was was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful!

The property was nice and comfortable enough. There are some things around the house that could use a little updating like the coffee maker and some of the furniture. The owner did say they plan on getting a new coffee maker and plan on doing some more updating to the place.

Clean and cozy cabin, great location for getting around. Only drawback was the coffee maker did not work and the bar b que grill was dirty and rusty.
