Asheville, North Carolina
Thoughtfully updated, this charming bungalow offers a superb location in a quiet West Asheville neighborhood -- minutes from downtown and popular Haywood Road. Visit Biltmore Village (5.8 miles) and don't miss the Blue Ridge Parkway drive.
Nestled on just over a half-acre, this 3BR/2.5BA home offers plenty of outdoor space -- complete with a covered patio and huge yard with a firepit. Inside, find a full kitchen, two living areas, and a spacious two story layout with a lofted bedroom.
Enjoyed our stay very much. House was just as advertised. It was perfect for us four sisters. Thank you
This property was perfect for my husband and me and our two adult daughters. With three sleeping areas and two and a half baths, each of us had privacy and plenty of room. The openness of the kitchen and two sitting areas gave us plenty of space to watch TV, work remotely, and relax. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we had a nice, relaxing stay. We were sorry to have to leave. We would definitely stay there again.
I have pondered how to review this house. We rented it because of the 5 star reviews. It was listed as a 3 bedroom with a loft that my 9 yr old grandson was so excited about. However that was unusable because it could not be cooled. The a/c which did not cool below 75 downstairs did not cool at all up there! There were small fans everywhere. When I contacted the owner he offered to lower the thermostat but didn’t. The second time he just offered a refund for us to leave or another fan. Really! I never mentioned that the ice maker didn’t work. Also on two mornings we literally had to prime one of the toilets to get it to flush. Felt like camp. Having said this the beds were comfy even though my daughter and I had to sleep together!
Only 10-15 minutes to downtown, Biltmore Village and Estate, and more. Welcoming home, cleam and good communication with Hamid.
We had a great time. The house was just the right space. Close enough to Asheville and Biltmore but also secluded enough. We would stay here again if we are back in Asheville.
This was a great house and perfect for our stay! Good location, quiet, clean, and just what we needed.
Charming house! Great proximity to restaurants, easy to get to the Biltmore Estate. We loved it and would stay here again.
Loved this property. Very comfortable beds, lots of space for everyone.
We loved this place. Very close to everything!
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The house is lovely, and our host included many thoughtful touches (an oatmwal bar, tea bar, popcorn bar, high quality linens, a hot water pot, etc. We will definitely be back! Many thanks to our host for such a wonderful stay!
I was very happy with our stay. It felt comfortable and welcoming, like being in your own home. Dishes, pots, pans, utensils, all there and easy to find. The location is great; we weren't bothered by street or neighbor noise even though every person in our group slept with their window open at night to get that cool mountain air while we slept. I would stay in this home again without a second thought.
Perfect location and house setup for our group. Well priced and clean. Super comfortable beds, furniture and well stocked for everything we needed. Close enough to town and west asheville but secluded enough too. Fire pit, popcorn bar and oatmeal all nice extra touches. We plan to rebook for next year.
We stayed for just one night but would definitely come back and stay again! Right on the outskirts of Asheville it was a short drive to lots of restaurants and breweries. Plenty of room for the whole family, and although we didn’t have time to enjoy it, we loved the cute popcorn bar.
We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. The house was charming and the owner had a lot of nice touches added to make it feel very welcoming and home-y. The mattresses in all the beds were SUPER comfy and we all slept great! Quality of linens was also excellent. The space was ideal for our group of 3 sisters/friends - could easily have had one more and not felt crowded - would also work very well for a family with kids. The fenced yard was awesome for our dog and there was a nice cul-de-sac that was good for quick morning & evening walks. It was a short and easy drive into downtown Asheville to hit the breweries. A bit farther over to the Biltmore, but certainly not a long drive. Definitely recommend this rental!
Great house with lots of nice touches! Popcorn machine and oatmeal with fixin's. The wood stove, fireplace and firepit were fantastic! The house is modernized and updated!
This is a very cute, spacious house with everything you might need, great for everyone. However, it is not really ready to be a vacation rental as there are still repairs needed. The bottom step is broken, handrail very loose, doorknob missing on closet, hole in the bedroom ceiling, bathroom not painted yet, smoke detector in upstairs sleeping loft didn't have a battery, no carbon monoxide detector we could find anywhere with 3 sources of combustible heat in the house, couch in family room very unstable to sit on.....so, not quite as good as you think from the photos. If it weren't for this punch list of items, I would give it 5 stars, but I feel there is a safety issue here.
This was a cute place to stay for a quick weekend trip. Convenient to downtown Asheville (10 minute drive) and close to nearby stores.
Quaint, comfortable home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Asheville at this beautiful homestead. A private, spacious, impeccably clean and updated home that is perfect for anyone searching for a spot away from the busy downtown Asheville scene but still a short uber drive away to everything you’d want to check out. Also a great place for dogs as this home has a doggie door and a fully fenced backyard. The owner was very polite, gracious and communicative- a true gem. This was one of our favorite VRBO stays so far :D
Really cute home with finished loft and basement. Sleeps 6 comfortably, could squeeze more on the couch if pressed- plenty of space. Host has lots of little touches throughout the property, and is responsive to messages online. Don’t change a thing!
We had a great stay at Hamid's property with our two young children and friends. Hamid was excellent with his communication when questions arose, and the house was very well appointed, especially with items for young children, making our stay a breeze!
Great stay, minutes from everything and tucked away in the mountains. Lots of windy road to and from there property but it was perfect for what we needed in a long weekend.
This rental home was the perfect accommodation for a weekend getaway in Asheville, NC. The home was located extremely close to downtown (only a few minute drive), but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown scene so that it was quiet, peaceful and secluded. There was ample amount of space and the home gave off a cozy cottage sort of feel. I would highly recommend!
Our visit to Asheville was so much fun. This well furnished Bungalow was amazing. It was so clean and well furnished, just perfect. My family and I can’t wait to come back stay again. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. Best regards, Joe
