Stayed Mar 28, 2026The house we rented was very cute. The area is beautiful. Our concerns were my daughter and I took the room with the twin beds, and her mattress was so bad she could not sleep. In addition our bathroom downstairs with the twin bedroom. The bathroom was too small claustrophobic very disappointed in that. They put the toilet in a closet. You couldn’t even turn around. It was so small. I can’t do stairs and the shower was on the second level, which was hard to climb to take would have preferred a bathroom with a shower downstairs for people with disabilities also, there must’ve Animal staying in our cabin because my granddaughter has allergies and sneezed the whole time we did not know that it was a pet friendly house. We would probably rent again in the area, but not in this particular home thank you.

Stayed Mar 31, 2025There was a police standoff last 2 days we were there, with the manhunt going on my wife would not leave the building. this man was on the loose with police presence to get in or out of the premises. Some money back i believe is in order. He had fire arms and was spotted behind where we were staying fleeing.

Stayed Jun 6, 2025Serenity Cottage is exceptional; we were welcomed to a very clean and charming home, where our hosts thought of everything! …and the access to local amenities is a big plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing weekend stay exploring Galena. PS we LOVED the pastries at Galena Bakehouse.
