The Space:

Nestled just steps from the scenic Sac River, Cabin 4 offers a peaceful retreat with stunning water views and the soothing sounds of the river flowing over the dam. Whether you’re unwinding in a hammock, casting a fishing line, taking a refreshing swim, gathering around a crackling fire, or enjoying a meal on the patio or picnic table, your front yard is the perfect setting for relaxation and adventure.

Inside, the main floor features an open, inviting space with a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area, and a well-appointed bathroom—designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

✨ Kitchen: Stocked with all the essentials, including pots and pans, a coffee maker, cutting board, and knife, making meal prep a breeze.

Bathroom: Located just off the entryway, the bathroom includes a high-pressure shower—perfect for rinsing off after a day on the river. We provide conditioning shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer for your convenience.

️ Living Area: Relax in the cozy main space, complete with a cozy Day Bed for extra sleeping arrangements, a comfortable chair, and handy hooks and storage for your belongings.

️ Loft Bedroom: The main sleeping area is in the loft, offering a snug retreat with beautiful views. Cabin 4 features a King Bed and a Queen Bed in the loft. Please note, the stairs are steep, but sturdy handrails provide added support.

Designed for year-round comfort, our cabins feature both heating and air conditioning, ensuring a cozy stay no matter the season.

Guest Access:
You'll have private access to your cabin, patio, front yard space, and direct river access. Plus, you're welcome to explore and enjoy other areas of Hideaway River Farm (HRF) during your stay.

Fishing & Relaxing: Feel free to fish along the riverbank wherever other guests aren’t present. “The Point” is a favorite spot for casting a line, unwinding, and soaking in nature’s beauty.

Gathering Spaces: Our stage area is open for guests to relax and picnic—unless it's being used for an event.

Outdoor Fun: Enjoy access to our playground and open field, perfect for running, playing, and making memories with your little ones.

Water Access: A boat launch is available for small watercraft and floats, and you can also access the river directly from the cabin area.

Stay Connected: Free WiFi is available throughout your stay.

Hideaway River Farm (HRF) is a private RV park and event space, and as our guest, you’ll have access to the entire property.

Located in the charming community of Caplinger Mills, HRF is just steps from the historic Caplinger Mills Bridge, the dam, and several rocky and sandy beaches. Steeped in history, Caplinger Mills is a beloved local spot for fishing, outdoor recreation, and exploring nature.

Explore on Two Wheels – We encourage guests to bring their bicycles! Just across the bridge, you’ll find miles of quiet farm roads running parallel to the Sac River—perfect for a peaceful ride.

Safe & Secure Stay – The property owners live on-site, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for all guests.

Pet Policy
Pets must remain leashed and under control at all times. To maintain cleanliness, they are not allowed in sleeping lofts or on beds.

Firewood Notice
To protect our native trees, outside firewood is not permitted. Firewood is available on-site, and you can also prepay for firewood when you book.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is allowed outdoors, away from patios. Please be considerate—nothing disrupts nature’s tranquility like unwanted smoke.

Arrival & Parking
Upon arrival, head straight to your cabin—no check-in required!
Park on the right side of your cabin (one vehicle per cabin).
The door will be unlocked, and you’ll find the key inside, along with additional details about your stay.
If you have extra vehicles, please park them in the overflow area across from the bathhouse.

We offer a seamless, hands-off check-in so you can settle in and start enjoying your getaway right away. Of course, we’re just a call or text away if you need anything!
