We stayed at the cottage with its close proximity to Lambeau Field. The cottage was perfect for us and our fur baby. Only thing we really would have liked is curtains on the door/windows that face Lake Michigan. We hope to be back sometime.
My wife, myself and our pup had a great time here! The view of the bay was remarkable, the house was very comfortable and stocked with every essential you can think of. Location was perfect with easy access to bars and restaurants and downtown Green Bay. Rick was very responsive to any questions we had and very prompt in returning messages. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway weekend!
great location, nicely appointed, well equipped kitchen, cool watertoys, (kayaks, paddleboards etc), Adirondack chairs at the waterfront were a huse plus.
We really enjoyed the clean, comfortable home and amenities. The lake bordering the property is shallow hundreds of feet out, so you can feel comfortable swimming and kayaking. Lots of inexpensive activities for kids just down the street--the amusement park, the nature center, the kids' fishing areas. Close enough to drive up into the Door County peninsula each day.
We loved staying at the cottage, we had a great time! Thank you!
This was the best little cottage to get away from people and life. As a young widow with 4 kids we needed a place to escape and do some healing just the 5 of us and this was the perfect place for it. We didn’t see a single other person down by the water, so we walked the beach every day, we swam, we played so many card and board games and just had good family time together without the noise of outside life. Plus it was just a 5 min drive to Bay beach which was an extra positive. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!
We (My husband, myself and our 2 children, ages 5 and 7) stayed at this lovely place for my husband’s birthday trip to Green Bay. What a wonderful cottage on the beach. The host was great to work with and our stay was everything we hoped it would be. I highly recommend and will stay here again if we travel to Green Bay in the near future!
My husband and I enjoyed the weekend in Green Bay to celebrate his birthday. Cozy cottage with everything needed. Wish the weather would’ve been nicer to enjoy the outside activities. All the extras for our dog were appreciated!
Visiting family in the area with our dog. This was an excellent clean, comfortable and peaceful spot for the weekend. Nice view of the water and the many birds. Sand hill cranes and pelicans right outside your window. Baird Creek trails are about 5-10 minutes drive away…great for walking the dog in the mornings. Very convenient location to everything in the area also. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
Short spring break trip. Cabin has plenty of entertainment and beautiful view of the bay. It was cold when we came but still sat in the chairs to enjoy the view. Saw cranes right outside the window. Recommend the wildlife park right down the street.
This property was perfect for our needs. It was me, my husband, adult son and our 2 pups. It was very clean and well maintained. It was chilly while we were here, but we were nice and warm!! Great location to the places in Green Bay that we were visiting. Beautiful views of the bay, very striking sunrise one morning.
We loved the cottage right on the lake . The weather left a bit to be desired (10” of snow). Rick and Rochelle were wonderful hosts and I can’t wait till we return. Thanks again ! See you soon, Eric
Owner was wonderful to work with. While the property is definitely older, the updates that have been done are all top quality. Shower and pillows were amazing. View of the bay is beautiful. Kitchen was amply stocked.
We loved this quiet cottage on the Bay - so peaceful and worked out perfectly for our group of four adult women. ? Short drive up to Door County and we had some wonderful sunny late October weather, perfect for a scenic drive to gawk at fall foliage. Check-in and check-out was super easy and the hosts communicated well. Would definitely come here again!
The good: Awesome location to relax in nature and still get to the game. Well appointed kitchen. Bird watching on the water was spectacular. Towels and sheets were new and nice. The bad: Ceiling seems low Cleanliness was an issue in the bathroom and floors were dirty on checkin. Needed allot more attention between guests. No body wash/shampoo/conditioner Would be nice to have a few more kitchen staples
This was a great spot to meet up with my brother and his family family. We drove from Michigan and they came from Minnesota, so this was a great halfway point. The cottage was bright & cozy, and that view of the bay is stunning. We got to know the sandhill crane family that visited frequently, and enjoyed a visit to the Bay Beach Amusement Park just down the street (you can ride the Ferris wheel for $0.75!) The baby toys and furniture/gear, video games, books, dog toys, marshmallow roasting tools were all much appreciated—seriously almost everything was there that you might need. I might suggest building a stair or steps down to the water, and adding a clothes line to dry towels outside, but we handled these inconveniences just fine. Overall, we enjoyed a lovely weekend. Thank you, Rochelle & Rick!
We enjoyed our six night stay at the cottage. Great location, close to Bay Beach Amusement Park and the Wildlife Sanctuary. The view from the cottage is incredible, enjoyed reading on the chairs overlooking the water. The cottage had a perfect layout for our family of four - our kids enjoyed playing games in the screened porch and the daily morning visits from the cranes walking on the lawn. The cottage had a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and convenient washer/dryer. Communication with the host was easy, very responsive. It's a peaceful/beautiful cottage, great getaway.
We used all the amenities and it was so nice having everything there. We really enjoyed the home
Everything about our stay was nice. The house was very clean and well stocked. It even had extra touches if you had kids or a dog. The view of the bay was beautiful and we enjoyed the gorgeous sunset every night. The location was ideal as we were close to downtown Green Bay and Lambeau Field but it was also very easy to get to Door County. I would definitely stay here again as it was a cozy cottage. The only thing is that it was a little hard to get over the rocks to the beach but overall we loved it.
We (family of 4) had an amazing time at this adorable cottage. The sunsets over the bay are breathtaking. The cottage itself is wonderfully appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked (including a wonderful coffee bar), the beds were comfortable, my son got a kick out of all the games, my daughter and I enjoyed the book selection, and there were bikes and kayaks for the whole family! We were close enough to bike to Bay Beach, downtown was a quick drive, and Door County was also convenient. The hosts really thought of everything. We had such a wonderful time.
