It was very nice. Quiet, everything nearby.

This property is beautiful, we loved sitting at the water around the fire all morning. When the sun comes up right across the water above the trees it is amazing. The train that goes across the water to the right isn’t too loud. The cottage was clean and cozy the only downside was that I couldn’t figure out how to work the fireplace.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The weather was perfect for swimming off the dock into the refreshing water. Sitting on the deck sipping our coffee in the mornings watching nature do its thing , birds , geese and a deer was delightful . A big thank you to the host who is very attentive in an assuringly kind manner which made our stay a relaxing one. I would consider renting this cottage / home again as the location and amenities are great.Jo

This is our second time staying in the cottage and we absolutely love it. The house is wonderful and has everything you need for a longer stay. And the location is fantastic - overlooking the water with a beautiful view and a short walk to the shops and restaurants downtown.

The view is magnificent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We only used the upstairs so can’t speak to the lower level. Bed was comfortable. Bring your own top sheet. Location was perfect for exploring the area. Sunroom and deck and floating deck were all really nice! There is a train that goes by but it didn’t bother us at night because we had 2 fans and a sound machine on. We would stay here again! Loved it.

This cottage is really a house, and a very nice one. It is on a beautiful piece of property on the Sequin River. In town but you wouldn't think it. Convenient to everything. Two comments: 1. It would be nice if the house had air conditioning. When we stayed it was hot, humid weather and the place got uncomfortable. The owner provided three large fans, which helped a bit. To rent the place isn't cheap, and so AC would be in order. 2. The place could use some more furnishings. A large coffee table and a couple of end tables in the living room area would be helpful, plus some table lamps or floor lamps. There's no lighting in that area except the ceiling lights. A tv in the basement suite would be nice too. None of this is crucial, of course, but again, the place doesn't come cheap and so it's not unreasonable to expect top-notch accommodation. Would we stay there again. If it had AC we would definitely stay again. Whether we will book again next summer without AC, we're not sure. Hope this helps.

The property is conveniently located, very clean & spacious. The listing did not indicate that 1 bedroom was on a different level of the house. This created a problem for our sleeping arrangements as we were travelling with 2 small children. It would have been better if at least 1 of the bedrooms had 2 single beds to allow more flexible sleeping arrangements. Light sleepers, be aware there is a railway track nearby and the sound of the many trains that pass by day & night with loud horns could be a big problem. While this was part of the great view, there was no mention of it in the property description which is a considerable oversight. We had some problems with internet & wi-fi connectivity that were resolved but the location of the modem was in an awkward location to access and the resolution required at least 2 separate occasions of modem resets. However, communications with the owner were excellent. The small bath towels provided were almost threadbare and no face cloths were provided, No kitchen towels were provided. Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped. The toilet in the basement suite was loose on its base and was unsuitable for an adult to sit on. The glass on the basement patio door was shattered and taped over: not sure if this compromised security or was evidence of an attempted break-in prior to our stay. The grounds around the property could use some TLC. Due to some of the issues listed above, we probably would not choose this location again.

The house is really lovely and the views are fantastic! So many places to sit (inside and out) to enjoy the views of the water. The house is also an easy walk to restaurants, Trestle brewery, and the Stockey Center. We definitely hope to stay here again the next time we're in Parry Sound!

The view was amazing. Took lots of photos and it was beautiful in anytime of the day but esp the afternoon when the water is still and the trees in the lake banks mirrors in the water!

Arrived at the property Thursday before the August long weekend. The owner and host was very prompt in getting us the location the day we arrived. We arrived to a very clean property! We absolutely loved the property as it was right on a river and quite private and spacious. The property has a ton of space to play games and relax. We spent most of our time on the floating dock, taking swims every 20-30 mins as it was super hot. Hardly any bugs, only at night when we had a camp fire. The property is super close to town so don't worry if you forget anything as you are super close to all stores. All in all great experience and super excited to hopefully go back next year!!!
