Stayed Jul 18, 2025It’s a great cottage right on the beach. We enjoyed being so close to town and yet having a fire every night on the beach. Super comfortable. Lots of beach toys and chairs. Just a note that the Internet isn’t always stable so if you’re counting on it Just know that sometimes it’s not the best. It appears to be the service not the owners fault. The owners were super about trying to get the Internet up and running for us

Stayed Jul 25, 2025We enjoyed our stay at this home right on the beach on Saginaw Bay. It has a deck with an umbrella table and other seating. The kitchen is well equipped to cook your meals, the beds are comfortable and the living room has two comfortable reclining chairs and a couch. This was our fourth year coming here and we look forward to coming back next year!

Stayed Jun 20, 2025The cottage was super cute and had everything that we needed. There was plenty of room inside and a beautiful outdoor area with your own private beach access. All the outdoor lounging equipment and children's play toys was provided. You are minutes from downtown, shopping and restaurants. All the cooking equipment and basic tools were provided for you. It hit records high temperatures during our stay so the AC was nice to cool off in. The owners were helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Our family had a wonderful time and would

Stayed Jul 4, 2025The cabin was adorable and we enjoyed our week stay overall. One thing I would mention is the smell of the well water which was not in the description of the cabin. I think the well can be treated so there isn’t a sulfur smell to it. I also was told to bring drinking water which was not on the description either. There’s no dishwasher which is also a downside. The garage was equipped with several chairs and beach toys, the mattresses were comfortable and there was plenty of seating spaces with two couches and two dining tables in addition to a patio table and couch. The lake water is shallow which is good with little kids and we brought our kayaks which was nice. However, we couldn’t have friends over since the host prohibits any events or more than 6 people in the house. I suggest bringing a clothesline to hang towels and bathing suits in the garage. I also had a hard time with the 10 am checkout and we ended up being late since we have to wash the dishes, strip the bedding and take out the trash. Another point is that they only allow Friday-Friday rentals and we would have liked to stay longer. Overall I liked the cabin but wanted to point out those things so that other people are not caught by surprise like I did. It’s close to Caseville and only a 15 minute drive to Port Austin which was nice and we experienced both towns. Jennifer was really nice and was very responsive any time I needed something.

Stayed Jun 27, 2025The cottage was perfect for our group. We were close to our extended family who has cottages in the area. The space was great, we loved having a card table plus a table to do puzzles on. The only downside was the internet, not very reliable.

Stayed Jul 26, 2024The cottage is exactly as pictured. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans and a toaster. Also various spices. Beds are comfortable with nice quality sheets. Enjoyed our meals at the table with a big umbrella on the deck overlooking the beach/lake. Living room has two comfortable recliners, couch and a TV with streaming and a DVD player. Our family of four adults enjoyed our week here. This is our third year staying here and hope to come back next year.

Stayed Jul 12, 2024Overall, the property is a great place to stay for a small group. The bathroom is good-sized for a cabin, the kitchen has everything you need, and there are three bedrooms. You're steps from the beach and a very short drive into Caseville. We had a few issues during our stay and the owners were very responsive to address them. There are a few things that were not what I expected. The water has a very strong sulfur smell. We didn't even brush our teeth in it and the washer has a warning that the water might stain clothing. You can refill water jugs cheaply at the Caseville family market and I recommend stocking up. It's worse than other cottages I've stayed in there. The internet is very slow. While there is some controversy over whether or not cottages should even have internet (my family has been arguing about it for decades), when it's advertised with internet I'd expect more than 3 to 4 MB. I knew I had a paper due and needed internet access, which is one reason I picked this property. Tethering to my husband's 5G phone (AT&T has good reception there, Google Fi does not) was faster. If you have to hop on a work conference call or your kids like to stream TikTok, it's not going to work for you. Consider bringing a wifi hotspot with you. The biggest issue was the beds. You can feel the coils in the master bed and the one in the lake room (I didn't try the bunks). I ended up sleeping on the couch a lot. They're probably about due for a replacement.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023The cottage is very comfortable, clean, quiet and exactly as pictured. Enjoyed the deck and beach. Also appreciated the central air conditioning as a few of the nights were muggy and hot. This is our second year staying here for a week and hope to return again next year.

Stayed Jun 17, 2023I loved my stay. Right on the beach. Amazing sunsets, barbecued, swan, fires on the beach, umbrellas to provide shade everything I needed. Close to Caseville. Enjoyed Lemontree for coffee, donuts, muffins and internet (internet in the cottage was spotty). Plan to book again!
