Waterfront cabin with hot tub, WiFi, deck, & wildlife views - dog-friendly

Loved the view. Over our stay we saw 2 porpoises, 1 seal and 5 Orcas very close to shore.

House had everything we needed, the hosts really thought of everything! Beautiful location!

Kitchen was adequate- we ate out mostly and did not cook in the house. The coffee maker is updated compared to what we saw in the photos- we would have brought K-cups! The house was pet-friendly, but there is no grass. We had to walk up the driveway bit to find grass for our finicky dogs. The view is STUNNING and location was perfect for getting around the island. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.

Great location and view from a big deck. Bedroom suites were very spacious and perfect for a big family vacation. An older home, and tricky parking but we enjoyed having a central location and room to play games and watch the ocean and stars.

We loved our stay at Pinecone Cabin! There was plenty of room for our two families (4 adults and 4 kids). The views from the decks were beautiful and the private beach was super fun! The house was clean and in good shape. We highly recommend this rental!!

Scenic views, comfortable beds, tasteful furniture, well stocked kitchen, close to downtown area, private rocky beach, family friendly Carpets could be updated.

Eastsound was nearby. Moran St. Pk with Cascade Lk was a fabulous place to spend the day & ice cream was within easy access! A GREAT vacation!

Beautiful setting. House comfortably accommodates a large group. As noted in property description, parking is a little tricky. Host’s personal touches, such as large spice rack and towels especially for dogs, gave it a homey feeling.

Everything at Pinecone was done thoughtfully. The place had all the amenities we needed. Two families had a great time at the cabin, loved the view from the sit out, especially at sunrise and sunset. The view of the ocean is fabulous. Loved the experience!

One would be hard-pressed to find better views and a more peaceful atmosphere.

It was a great property, very spacious. Good location and accessibility to everything nearby. Lower and upper deck had good water views and sunset views. Hottub could be better placed for the view but it was still enjoyable.

Big house with plenty of space and a great view but that’s about it. It’s old, not sure when the last person stayed but there was a group of spiders and webs hanging out in the living room corner when we walked in. Hot tub had an error message and looked to be leaking. Parking is a challenge if you have more than 2 cars and even with 2 you’ll be doing some funky 5 point turns to maneuver out. We left something behind and tried to ask for help returning but no luck there. Plenty of other options on the island.

We had a great stay on orcas and enjoyed the views from this cozy home. The location is top notch as it’s a very short drive into town but remote enough to be very quiet and peaceful. One morning I even saw an orca from the deck.

We had a sibling reunion and the cabin worked beautifully for four couples. Kitchen was cozy but the bedrooms (especially upstairs) were spacious and comfortable. We’d stay here again!

Lovely place, love the island - great experience. Driveway is steep and narrow, hot tub was clean and functional. Bedding is low quality, living room furniture is less then ideal. Deck is solid, but slippery (could do with a power washing).

A pretty spectacular slice of paradise on Orcas Island. The home is a little dated but is cozy nonetheless. Great place to stay to explore the San Juan Islands.

Excellent property for a stay on Orcas Island. Waterfront view from deck, living space and upstairs bedrooms is outstanding. Convenient location near the supplies and amenities of Eastsound. Cabin was very clean, maintained and well supplied with linens, kitchen tools, and indoor entertainment options. As advertised, the driveway is steep but paved. Multiple cars will be somewhat of an issue as there is limited space to turnaround. Highly recommend, especially for multiple couples.

The view from the deck is amazing. We even saw a pod of Orcas swim by one afternoon. We had a group of 7, and bedrooms & bathrooms worked out well for us. We enjoyed the deck and the hot tub, and used the path to get down to the water. Although the drive way is steep and curvy, it is paved and not too long. Our van made it down slowly. We cooked several breakfasts & dinners, and had plenty of utensils etc. Also used the grill. The location is great- close to the park, and about 20 minutes to town.

The beds were great and bedrooms are comfy. The house is roomy, offering privacy in the bedrooms. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you need to prepare meals (utensils, cookware and spices). The dining area was accommodating. But, a lot of wear and tear needing TLC of the living room furniture and the decks.

We stayed here with our family, 6 adults and two littles. The location of the house was lovely. Our kids loved going down to the rocky beach and finding rocks and shells. At low tide, we found sea stars on the rocks. The sunset was beautiful over the water every night. The kitchen and dining space is quite small and cramped so if your family likes to cook, keep that in mind! Otherwise, lots of space in the bedrooms. Quick drive into town and to Moran state park. We really enjoyed our stay!

Delightful, private location with magnificent views!

We came with 3 couples. Every group had their own bedroom and bathroom. The views were absolutely stunning! We saw a bald eagle, sea otters, porpoises, seals, deer, turkeys, and various other animals. This location is close to town but also secluded. We couldn’t have picked a better place. Our stay was perfect!

Great location! Clean and spacious. Close to attractions. Hot tub was great after a long day of exploring!

Comfortable house with wonderful views of the water. Nice path to walk down to the water at low tide. We generally found the kitchen to be a bit small but we managed by limiting the number of people in the space at a time.
