Walking Distance to the Beach 2 Bed 1 Bath Beach Cottage on beautiful Oak Island

The hosts were very welcoming and the house was a very nice space!

My sister and I stayed here for the weekend for a girls trip and we were very impressed with the property. It was a short distance from the beach which was great, but we were just so impressed with the home altogether. It is cozy, welcoming, clean, and just perfect for a weekend getaway. There were plenty of games, kitchen space for cooking, and the back patio area was so cute with the bistro lights. The front porch was quite spacious with a swing and chairs for your early morning coffee. The beds were comfortable and the little couch area with the kitchen window cutout was great for convenience. We were very happy with our stay and will be back again soon for sure.

Oak Island ie a beautiful beach to relax and enjoy some quiet time it was just what we needed and the house was great I nice walk to beach and great sunsets we went morning and evening! The pelicans and dolphins are plentiful and what beautiful sand!!!

We had a wonderful time staying at Oaks and Waves. My granddaughters had so much fun playing on the front porch. The backyard was absolutely beautiful. The outdoor shower was nice. Everything was very tidy and clean. We made so many great memories during our stay!

The cottage was just right for a relaxing getaway. We loved sipping coffee and enjoying the gentle breeze, while swinging on the porch swing. Short drive to the public beaches and the pier. The owners were super nice and quick to respond to my questions. Definitely plan to stay again.

We loved this property! It's cozy, clean, cute , comfortable! They had everything we needed for our Father's Day Getaway! I could go on and on about this property but there's not enough space. The host are quick to respond and very helpful about the events on the island! We can't wait to book another stay at their place!

We came down for a generational girls trip and we had a great time, loved the area we stayed in and could walk to the beach, restaurants were right down the road. It was decorated so beautifully , it wascomfortable and had everything we needed! Hopefully we will be back next year!

We had a great stay, enjoyed the home and location. Were out of TP and dishwasher soap, but replaced and left some extra TP. Would love to come back!

This cozy cottage was so comfortable and convenient. We especially liked being able to walk to shops, restaurants, and of course the beach. Michael and Tina were very friendly and responsive.

This house was everything it said it was a more. Very quiet location. Easy walk to the beach. We had a great time relaxing and reflecting. The hosts are amazing and have thought of everything to make the house a home away from home.

We came down for our mothers celebration of life, not the happiest reason for a beach trip but Michael made the reservation and check in process trouble free. The cottage is adorable, impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The area is super convenient to local restaurants and except for a good bit of tropical storm delays, we had a very nice stay. Michael was thoughful, compassionate and kind.

clean and well kept with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. distance to beach access was as described and a simple walk. dining options within walking distance as well. would absolutely return.

It was a really cute cottage with everything we needed. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful, and the location was very good, easy to get to restaurants and the grocery store and of course the beach :). We highly recommend!

I LOVE Oak Island! Especially all the beautiful trees and shade around Oaks & Waves The house is so lovely! Someone put a lot of thought into this beach house. Outdoor shower is awesome. Thank you for the kid’s toys, dishes, and bike buggy! Grandkids had a great time. Hope to stay at Oaks & Waves again next summer!

This place was absolutely stunning, best couple to work with, they're very fast to reply and the house was fully stocked and very clean. We absolutely loved the back yard, beds and pillows. We will definitely stay again. The outdoor shower was an amazing touch.
