Walk to Trails! Sedona Casita w/ Fire Pit & Views

Well equipped casita, good location.

This apartment was very comfortable for the two of us for 4 days. The apartment is equipped with EVERYTHING you could ask for. The best part may be the patio with an amazing view of the mountains. We had every meal out on the patio and even used the BBQ. The apartment is in a lovely and very quiet neighborhood of Sedona where each house is a unique Southwestern design and has beautiful desert landscaping. At the same time it is very close to the main drag and just a few minutes from Safeway where we did daily food shopping. Our host Julie was always avaiable quickly by text to answer any questions we had. Our main activity was hiking but did not get a chance to try some trails within walking distance from the house! Hopefully we will in our next visit which we are already looking forward to.

So beautiful inside and out. This home is beautifully crafted and our host thought of every detail. The porch view is stunning. Whether you wish to walk to one of the trailheads or run or walk through the neighborhood your eyes will be filled with beauty. The well manicured lovely properties are surrounded by Mountain Views. We will definitely be back to this gem.

Great neighborhood! Close to everything!

We loved our stay at The Casita. First, it had a great bed allowing us to sleep well. The kitchen had the appliances and utensils we needed for our nice breakfasts and lunches. The patio was very comfortable, with the fire table providing some nice warmth for early March! And communication from Julie was quick and helpful. We hope to stay here again!

Some vacation properties feel like rentals, but the casita felt like home.It seemed that the owner’s intention was to provide every possible convenience and comfort, and make the space warm and inviting.After 6 nights, we would say that effort was successful and the casita exceeded every expectation.In addition, management of the property was exceptional.

Enjoyed our stay so much as return visitors to Casita. It has everything we need to make our stay comfortable and like at home. Especially enjoy the kitchen which is well stocked. Our host was very attentive to us to make sure we our doing ok . Also like the fact that we are close to some beautiful trails here. Can’t wait to come back hopefully next winter.

What a wonderful place to stay in a gorgeous setting. We loved hiking and biking in Sedona. Our place was perfect, clean and well-organized. The host really thought through what would be needed by guests, with clear instructions for everything. That made it very relaxing. The bed was really comfortable too! Our only challenge came with confusion about being moved abruptly from VRBO to an organization called EVOLVE, when we asked to extend our stay one more night.

Very cute, well appointed casita. We were two seniors and one 10 year old. It would be perfect for a couple. We especially loved the beautiful view from the patio.

The casita was perfect for our anniversary trip. It's located close to hiking trails and just a short drive to Uptown. We enjoyed coffee on the quaint patio with a gorgeous view every morning. The bed was quite comfy and the kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked. Would stay here again on our next trip!

This casita exceeded our expectations and made for a wonderful week in Sedona. The outdoor space was our favorite. Everything we needed and special attention to detail including the decoratively folded Kleenex. Definitely will stay here again!

Staying at this casita in Sedona was an absolute dream! The location is unbeatable—Thunder Mountain is right out the front door, with trailheads just a short walk away.The casita itself is unbelievably well-appointed, every single detail was thought through, and made for a perfect stay. Top-notch fixtures, flooring, tile, bedding, to the well-stocked amenities, no detail was overlooked. Welcome snack baskets, how to binders, restaurant suggestions, hike recommendations, nightlights - hooks where you need them - every convenience appliance was present! Unlike most rentals that provide just basic startup supplies, this one goes above and beyond, offering every single thing you could possibly need or may have forgotten. It is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, feels wonderfully secluded, but is less than a mile from town. This was my second time returning, and once again, the experience was flawless. The host was amazing—communicative, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to making the stay as seamless as possible.If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and perfectly located place to stay in Sedona, this casita is simply exceptional. If you landed here, stop looking elsewhere and hit reserve. I promise, you will not be sorry!

Absolutely perfect! If I could give more stars I would. This place was in the pefect location with awesome views. Neighborhood was quite and close to everything. The place was clean and very well appointed. Instructions were clear and visible throughout the house. Every detail was considered. Plenty of coffee pods, paper towels, soap, toilet paper, laundry supplies, snack, pillows, towels. We only had to go to the store for food. Julie the host was great. Always available and responsive. We were within 15 minutes of everywhere we wanted to be including all the trails and downtown. The view from the patio was amazing. I had coffee out there every morning and a beverage every night. So quite and peaceful. This is the perfect place for 2 people or 2 people with a child.

Everything was great. Enjoyed the Keurig & coffee. Slept great in the king size bed. TV easy to use. My husband did have to call, because he couldn’t figure out the heater. Julie was very nice and patient and problem solved.The location was convenient and beautiful. Close to restaurants we visited, grocery store and trailheads.

This is our third stay in this casita and it is perfect for 2 people. The location is close to everything, especially hiking trails just a short walk from the home. Sedona is just beautiful, the views are amazing.

Clean close to everything Great host

Everything we needed was right there: coffee pods, laundry, etc. The place was clean and comfortable with an amazing view. The host was communicative and committed to making sure we were happy with our stay. Definitely recommend for a couple looking for a great location close to trailheads, shopping, etc.

Our stay at Casita on Thunder Mountain was perfect. The rental was very clean, newer appliances, beautiful decorating & the washer and dryer was an added convenience. Several hikes within walking distance & patio and grill were great for relaxing in the afternoon. Would highly recommend for any couple looking to experience Sedona at the perfect location. Hope to return.

From the moment we booked this casita to the moment we locked the door, after our stay, everything was just wonderful!! Julie instantly reached out to us, as soon as we were booked, introduced herself, gave us some information, and gave us contact information to reach out to her with anything we needed. (And when we did, she was immediately back with a response!)The casita is well appointed and has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful stay....including a basket of snacks!! :) It was impeccably clean!!The neighborhood is quiet and in a very beautiful location and very safe to wander around in....keep your eyes peeled for the javelinas!!We couldn't have asked for a more centrally located base to explore from, yet just far enough away from Uptown that we were beyond all of that busyness!Thank you Julie for everything!! We look forward to staying here again!! Note: If we had one wish, it would be that the owners would let the casita have a tiny bit of the back yard, just out of the sliding glass door, so that the guests could enjoy a cup of morning coffee in the sunshine!

Cute little place, very clean. Great location, near trails & grocery store. Had a great time hiking. We brought our pup with us, the only thing that I would have a complaint about is where we had to take our pup to go potty. Did not read that in the description that there was a small uneven rocky area for dogs. Just read that in the rules when we arrived. Other than that a great place.

My spouse and I stayed at the Casita for our recent hiking vacation to Sedona. The Casita was PERFECT for us. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. The Casita was very comfortable, well appointed and located in a clean/quiet neighborhood close by to shops, a super market and dozens of hiking trails. Our host was accessible by text and checked in with us to ensure everything was sufficient. We would stay at the Casita again without hesitation! We enjoyed miles of walking the trails near the house. The house had a kitchen supplied with all needed for light cooking. The yard and patio are very quiet and pretty as well.

What a wonderful, cozy, comfortable place to stay. Very convenient to some nearby trails. Beautiful view from the patio. You won't be sorry staying here.

We loved the Casita! It was so thoughtfully appointed with everything you never even thought you’d need! We did a lot of hiking and greatly appreciated having a washer and dryer, a first aid kit with bandages even some spray on sunscreen. The kitchen was very well stocked and when we had a question Julie was available immediately to respond. The location was perfect and the views amazing. We’re already talking about coming back!
