Stayed Jun 11, 2022A fabulous place to get away and relax, yet close to towns, beaches and attractions. Great wildlife. Vultures, Eagles, Hoopoes, shrikes etc seen every day. Pool was perfect.

Stayed May 12, 2022We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very peaceful and private during our time there and the perfect place to relax and forget about the stresses of everyday life! The garden is spacious, beautiful and the views are simply stunning! The pool is fantastic and a perfect size for cooling off after a long, hot walk! There are a few different seating areas both in the shade and in the sun and it was lovely to have the room to move around from sun to shade during the hot weather. The house is lovely and had a lovely, homely feel to it with some nice ornaments, interesting art work and rustic touches. It has a well equipped kitchen with plenty of pans for cooking if you prefer to self cater, with a dishwasher and washing machine. It's located very close to the long distance GR221 footpath, otherwise known as the dry stone route and it's a lovely part of footpath to follow, without being too challenging. The nearest town is approx 5-6km away where there are plenty of options to eat out if that's your preference. Antonia was very pleasant and polite and left us to enjoy the property without intruding on us. She always had a friendly smile and a wave when passing by in her car. There were just a couple of things that would have made things more comfortable: Firstly the garden furniture. We spent a lot of time, most afternoons, sitting outside reading and relaxing by the pool but the garden chairs were really uncomfortable to sit on, despite there being small seat pads. It was such a shame as the garden is an absolute joy to sit out in and our stay would have otherwise been perfect. I would have given it 5 stars if we could have sat outside in more comfort. Secondly, as mentioned by another reviewer, the air conditioning. It came on at 3.50am every morning and turned itself off at around midday and then we couldn't get it to turn back on again when we really needed it it in the late afternoon/evening. These two issues are minor niggling points and didn't really stop us from enjoying our stay there. Overall, it's a great place to stay and we will likely return to continue walking in the area.

Stayed Aug 14, 2021Great property with everything that a family might need. Close enough to amenities but also far enough away to be relaxing. Superb views and a pool which was more than big enough for a family of four. Previous reviews mention uncomfortable beds - this is not true! They were absolutely fine. Also, there is a mobile phone signal for those who need connectivity. Owner very helpful and responsive. Would thoroughly recommend!

Stayed Jul 22, 2021It was a pleasure to stay at this finca. It's away from all noise, the garden and pool is surrounded by plants, so nobody can see you at first sight. The view on the Tramuntana mountains ist stunning, and there is the GR221 hiking path just 400m away. Next stop to shop is Pollenca, this is about five kilometers. But if you just need vegetables, eggs and cheese, you can stop by at the farm nearby - delicious! The house is very comfortable and cozy, everything in there you need and big enough for at least four persons! It was clean and we enjoyed the time a lot. We hope to come back next year!!

Stayed Aug 25, 2018I'm going to address the lack of my 5th star first, because it was hardly something that we were going to let spoil our whole holiday, however it's been mentioned before and if addressed, a change of mattresses would make this gorgeous place perfect! Its not that they were lumpy or old, just very firm! And the set up in the second bedroom was nowhere near as much of an issue as some reviews had made us think it would be. We have 2 lanky teens (15+17 year old girls ) and they found them the L shape to no be any problem. The Wifi is patchy but no worse than we have at home, and we were on hols so had better things to do than stare at screens!! This is the third Villa I've stayed in around the Pollenca area and it is by far the most spectacular setting; the views are just gorgeous. As others have said, the outside area of the villa is what makes it so special. The gardens are so pretty and very well maintained with beautiful flowers including hibicus and a fig trees that was laden with fruit whilst we were there. The pool is small but perfectly formed (and clean!) Antonia's directions for arrival were clear and very accurate so that we had no problems finding the villa, despite a late night arrival and the fact that without the guidance, it would have been impossible to find! Antonia also popped in a couple of times to water the garden pots so we felt we had some back-up, just in case anything went wrong. All in all a lovely holiday in a wonderful spot! ?....oooh- for hot wate - let it run for much longer than you would expect to have to. It gets there eventually!!! ?

Stayed Jul 3, 2018Very nice area in the mountains, but our phones did not work - wifi only. Wonderful garden but we did not enjoy the inside, the beds are like sleeping on yoga mats - ie very hard and uncomfortable- and the air conditioning was on timer and stopped around 07.30 when we of course woke up because of the bad air/heat.. strange set up in childrens room with beds and terrible sofa and chairs in livingroom/TV room . Buy new sofa that is not broken and disgusting. Not worth the money, will rent other place next time. Maria

Stayed Aug 15, 2017The only negative was the erratic wifi- other than that couldn't fault it! The property had clearly been renovated since pics were taken- would suggest updating them. The living areas and outside areas are spacious and comfortable, well kitted out kitchen, second bedroom with two single beds in a weird kind of L shape bunk bed scenario- only really suitable for children- which is a shame. Recommend an SUV vehicle where possible as some of the road is rather bumpy. Had a great stay, and would absolutely recommend! Thank you Antonia.?

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The pictures should be updated, there seems to have been some improvements to the outside area (patio paving, driveway etc) and it's even more green and lush. This is a very rustic property situated in a very quiet spot just on the hill but only 10 minutes far from Pollensa town and 20 minutes from the beach. It's completely private and very relaxing and just what we were looking for. Take note of the location and set your google map accordingly and you should find it with ease. We arrived in the dead of night (thanks Monarch!) but had no major problems getting there. I'm sure there are more luxurious properties available but their price will reflect that and in respect of value for money this property is very good. The owner visits once or twice a week to check all is okay (and to provide clean linen/towels) and is very helpful. There are supermarkets (Lidle etc) just 10 minutes away that are open till 8pm on Sunday (10pm other days). We recommend (if you have a car) turning left on the main road and going into the mountains, the road is lovely and the scenery is breathtaking. We will definitely visit this area again and would recommend this property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Last year my family and me stayed in this property, consisting of my husband, 13 year old daughter and 10 year old son (at the time). I can honestly say it was one of the best holidays we have ever had! We arrived in the dark and had no problem finding it, although in a gorgeous rural setting, as my husband had made a note of the map coordinates ... he won a gold star for that! :-) After a day of travelling we were obviously tired so had a quick sit down, bite to eat and sampled some local wine and then off to bed! On first impressions we were wowed by the place. Picturesque, clean and tidy and everything the 4 of us needed. It had so much character too including a gorgeous huge old fig tree in the garden and a redundant pizza oven in the kitchen! We awoke the next morning, now in daylight, not really sure what to expect. We opened all the shutters, walked out the back door and were taken back by the view of the mountains with a gorgeous blue sky as it's backdrop. From that moment onwards we were relaxed and the kids were straight in the pool! When it came to exploring we realised by car we were in easy reach of everything!! We would drive to the main road turn right and this takes you towards the sea and gorgeous beaches (and plenty of local supermarkets, restaurants etc.) and if you turn left you were heading toward the mountains and the road soon turned into winding mountain roads leading to all sorts of interesting places and more stunning beaches. The harder to find the better they were. The villa itself was kept emmaculately clean; cleaners came in once a week and we had a regular change of towels and tea towels. We tended to explore and beach during the day with picnics or restaurant food to keep us going and then we would hit the supermarket and barbecue most nights in the most tranquil setting. It's an old farmhouse but, the lovely, Antonia (the owner) still has a few animals in the field next door. The sound of the cowbell on the head goat now and again was just another relaxing reminder of the ruralness. I could go on and say more but this is probably long enough. Suffice to say we are going back this year and staying in the larger property next door with my parents as well and looking forward to it immensely. If you're looking for this type of holiday GO! You definately won't regret it. Thanks again Antonia for a wonderful 2 weeks and see you in August! xx
