Positives; great location, neighborhood and near by town super cute! 2 near by beach access, very short walk either direction. 1 access no stairs just low impact slope to walk up/down dirt/sand walkway, Other access has a nice walkway with quite a few steps to get to/from beach but not bad. Both beaches were on the small side but not super crowded. Property manager was nice & easy to contact, stopped by to give us some info about the beaches and such. Place itself was clean but unremarkable, came with basic kitchen supplies/towels/blankets etc. Good wifi, bad data reception in spots. Negatives; pictures on listing are acurate, but dont give a good representation of some key elements that may have made us choose a different place if we had known what to expect. This listing is the middle unit of a 3 unit condo, listing says unit 1x in description which i must have over looked when reading the info. The end unit is rentable as well, and comes with a screened in porch and acess to a small side yard area which if stayinghere againThe middle unit we stayed in has private deck in description but in reality it is a very small, very secluded deck off one of the bedrooms in the rear of the house. Just enough room for a cramped table if 4, grill, & hot tub that takes up large space but was not useable. Not really an area we wanted to hangout. There is a small front porch area but no real area to hang outside other than the gravel driveway.
We had a great time at this cabin, it was spacious, clean, and fully equipped kitchen. Communication with the owners was smooth. We’ll come back!
Perfect beach getaway. A very short walk to sand and sunsets and close to all the region has to offer!
Property is located just across the way from a public beach. The beach was never too busy (stayed at end of July). Whistle Stop and Red Arrow Restaurant a short walk. Two bedrooms and a pull out sleeper couch in the living room.
Wonderful place and location. Two beach accesses that are a very short walk to the big lake. Loved the wooden floors and natural lightning from all the windows and the wood burning fireplace!
We loved the small town! We could walk to the beach, a restaurant, an ice cream shop, a bakery, and the beach! There is a grocery nearby but we chose to drive in town to Barney's. There are 2 Beach accesses and they are beautiful, breathtaking. Highly recommend!
The beach was very nice! Close walk. Short drive to a lot of good restaurants
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. I was at first put off upon discovering this is a multi-unit rental. The online add didnt make that clear, but this was a minor inconvenience. The proximity to the beach is awesome, doesnt get closer unless youre water front. An outside hose would do wonders to helping us maintain sand levels. Also the single AC window unit struggled to keep it comfortable.
