We loved our stay! We enjoyed kayaking, making a campfire on the beach every night and watching the sunsets. The cottage is located on a private beach. It is quiet and relaxing. A premier location for a family. Highly recommend!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful cottage. The unique architecture and user-friendly setting makes it a one-of-a-kind experience. The stretch of beach on the property is amazing. And, when mother nature sends a cold north wind, there's all the wood you need for a cozy fire. Thanks for letting us bring our little water lab - she loved the lake as much as we did. Hope we can return soon.
We absolutely loved staying here - gorgeous views of the lake from so many rooms in the house, and of course being steps from the beach was wonderful. Karen was an excellent host and answered our questions in a timely manner. Great biking right outside the door through the tunnel of trees!
We loved it. Had family fly in from NC and Mexico and this was their first taste of northern Michigan. It was the perfect place overall. The only heads up I think I can give you would be to be prepared to set a LOT of fruit fly traps. Lots and lots of bugs, but it's to be expected -- this is a cottage in the woods at the beach! One shower (no bathtub) was difficult with young kids, but overall worth making it work!
Beautiful beachfront property. Close to Cross Village, GoodHart and Stergeon Bay, endless opportunities for hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, lounging ...
Wonderful 180 degree view right on Lake Michigan. Swimming, kayaking, incredible sunsets, brilliant star gazing...this place has it all for people who love the outdoors. Visit the Black Barn in Cross Village for fresh food! We hope to come back next summer!
We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely and comfortable home near the charming town of Cross Village. However with the amazing location of this home right on the shores of Lake Michigan we never wanted to leave. With its own private sandy beach we spent so much time there during the day and on clear nights the view of the stars was spectacular to say the least. We felt so fortunate to have had this beautiful experience and would love to come back again.
Our family loved this lake house. Hearing the waves while we slept was one of our favorite parts. It was great to be able to bring our dog too. We can’t wait to come back!
This location is a hidden gem. We had such a nice time!
There aren't words to describe the spectacular views of Lake Michigan, not only from the sunny deck, but from the many windows that overlook the lake. I loved the living areas in the cottage, the feeling of remoteness, and yet the proximity to Cross Village and Good Hart. And, of course, the lake access - just a few steps down to the beach. It was a wonderful experience - everyone had a great time. Thank you for sharing it with us!
