Stayed Jan 28, 2026We had an awesome stay at Tuckamore. The sweeping views of the picturesque town of Trinity East and the sun setting over the ocean was breathtaking. The home was beautiful and well equipped for our needs. The hosts were gracious and always quick to respond to us, even going out of their way to warn us of a coming storm and provide us with an extra night to ensure our safety. Outstanding hospitality and beauty, we can’t say enough to recommend this lovely home.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Staying at Tuckamore was perfect for our family of 5 and for our exploration of the Bonavista peninsula. We hiked the nearby Skerwink Trail and visited other fabulous trails and sites like the Puffin nests. Also enjoyed the live musicians at the nearby Port Rexton Brewery. The hosts were very helpful in setting out information in a manual.

The property allowed us to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery and local area, while the lovely interior provided us all the comforts of home and more. Stayed Jun 26, 2025This home is absolutely amazing, both inside and out. It's a traditional saltbox style home, but built recently, and is exceptionally modern, bright, and clean. We loved everything about it, from the amazing view/location, comfortable bedrooms, outstanding common space, and well-equipped kitchen. Could not find fault with anything, and would most definitely stay again. If you stay, make time for the Skerwink Trail, which is right at your doorstep. To the owners -- thank you for sharing this incredible house.

Trinity East is a beautiful spot but being steps away from the Skerwink trail was magical. We did the trail twice in our short stay but wish we’d done it once or twice more.

Stayed Jul 17, 2024My friends and I stayed at Tuckamore for a week. I cannot imagine a home that could have suited our needs more. Beautiful views. Convenient to all of our activities, including hiking, historical walking tours, cod jigging and a drive to Elliston to see the puffins. Had amazing meals at nearby Fishers’ Loft and Twine Loft. But more importantly, because everyone in our group consider themselves home “chefs”, we also had amazing meals at home and found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend Tuckamore to anyone interested in visiting Newfoundland.

Stayed Jul 14, 2024Great to be back in Trinity East for a few days. We love staying at Tuckamore - just such a special place. We love the location, the views, the art, the books, and the very well-stocked kitchen. On our short stay we hiked Fox Island, had a lovely meal at Twine Loft, & went to Elliston & Bonavista where we saw lots of whales & puffins. Hope to return next year for a longer stay! It’s the perfect place.
