Stayed Dec 8, 2025Really enjoyed the layout and water view! Clean and bed was good! Only giving a 4 because there was only 1 plate, a few pieces of silverware, etc. there was coffee, but no cream or sugars. I would recommend staying here, but bring everything if you plan to cook at all.

Stayed Apr 13, 2025We have visited Ocracoke 4 times in the last several years. After staying at a couple of other VRBOs on the island, we love Treasure Chest the best. The location is on the sound side of the island, with beautiful marsh views and sunsets. The cottage has all rhe bells and whistles for a wonderful stay. But dont tell anyone about the the magic of Ocracoke; lets just keep it our secretVRBOVRBOs

Stayed Aug 28, 2023This was our third time staying in the Treasure Chest. It’s located in a very quiet area of Ocracoke but within walking distance of the village and only a short drive to beautiful beaches. The Harbor Inn office provided excellent service!
