The open floor layout was perfect for our families doing different activities in the same large space. View was beautiful from both of the larger bedrooms. An umbrella over the table on the deck would have been appreciated given the sunny, hot days.

Reviewer Comments: Thanks to the owners for the upgrades: New screen door, new chairs on deck, etc. This is our 4th or 5th year coming hear; we hope to continue. A few minor items: 1) For the second year in a row, the smoke alarm went off; handyman Dan came by to fix it. Not sure what the problem is. 2) There is a small hole on the deck that a chair leg can fall in. Dan put tape over it but the wood needs to be replaced. 3) There is no screen on one window in small upstairs bedroom. These are small things. Overall, a great place to vacation. Thanks.

The house and views were wonderful with awakening to singing birds making my 5 weeks happy. Turkeys and the chipmunks o visited every day which excited the grandchildren! Lots of quiet walks and good books from the Wellfleet library helped me feel helped sooth my soul.

Great location near town and the beaches. We've been coming to Wellfleet for over 30 years and this is right about where we wanted to be. Great view of the cove from the back deck. The house really could use shades on the windows - the window treatments are not adequate for either privacy or blocking the sun, as the case may be. We experienced a couple of issues, but they were quickly resolved (the cleaning service showed up after we arrived, the thermostat wasn't working properly, and we had a minor plumbing event). All in all worth our while.

We also stayed in this house 2 years ago. We love the quiet location and the view is amazing. We never stayed on the Cape during off season before. It was nice to not have the usual crowds but we got there just before a lot of places were closing up for the season. The house is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed doing the jigsaw puzzles. Our only complaint is that the dirt road to the house is in bad shape. Fortunately we have an SUV.

Also the cheap grill lacks a bottom grate for serious grilling and owner should supply a small outdoor table next to grill for food prep and a place to deposit ashes. Kitchen should have a toaster oven.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the breeze and views in this beautiful home off of Drummers Cove. The house easily accommodated us (4 adults) and was just a bike or car ride away from the sights and sounds of Wellfleet. Note: google maps does not recognize this location as being in Wellfleet and sends you instead to Eastham. Best to arrive for the first time by daylight to read the house address!

Beautiful home, spacious, clean with everything you can ask for. Quiet location, beaches nearby with Wellfleet center a few minutes drive. Drummer cove scenery was spectacular.
