Tranquil and Spacious Cottage close to South Haven Beaches and Downtown

Loved our stay! Marc made sure to think of everything. I really enjoyed the muffins he left out and coffee. Very detailed to the point where we had fresh half and half for our stay and nice tray of cheese, strawberries and grapes. Will definitely be back.

The best stay we have had yet. The property was beautiful, quiet and serene. Inside was very clean and spacious. Lots of little things the owner supplied that made our vacation easier like towels, blankets, coffee, tea, supplies for smores and wood for the fire pit. Also bikes, helmets, chairs, toys, and canopy for the beach!

The cottage and surrounding grounds were so well kept and the interior decorated with great charm. The owner was very communicative and hospitable. The beach and downtown were just five minutes away by car. We hope to stay here again and will recommend to family and friends.

We wish we could have stayed much longer than the overnight stay that we booked. Marc, our host, had our cottage and surrounding grounds beautifully decorated. We had a lovely evening dining on the fruit, cheese, and crackers that he provided. We were also fortunate enough to visit with Marc and learn a bit of historyand tour other areas of the property. Such a charming cottage, with a host who went above and beyond what we expected. Everything that we needed was provided and made our stay so effortlessly comfortable. The cottage was beautifully decorated and was immediately cozy. Highly recommended! We will be returning!

This was the cleanest and most thoughtfully stocked vacation rental I've ever stayed in! Marc was a communicative (but not invasive) host, the place was immaculate and he left all sorts of welcome goodies for us. It had everything we wanted and we saw beautiful birds and deer at the property, and walked over to the lake for a stunning view. Short drive to town, but quiet and peaceful home-base. I stayed with my parents and we had a really wonderful time!

We loved the property and Marc was so easy to work with from the time of booking until check out! He was also helpful in providing information on things to do in South Haven and nearby areas. We enjoyed coming back each night and sitting by the fire. Marc even had things to make s’mores. The location was great! About two miles to downtown South haven. We road bikes our bikes from the property then hoped on the Kal Haven trail. We were also glad we took his recommendation to go to Deer Lick park for sunset. It was only a mile from the house. Beautiful sunset location and much less crowded. Would definitely come back!

Beautifully kept cottage and grounds, adorably decorated! Comfortable and homey with everything you need and more. The host has thought of everything and gives a personalized touch. The property is literally 5 minutes from downtown South Haven, yet you feel like you are in the country. You will definitely be thrilled you chose to stay here!

Marc is an A-1 host with a 5-star cottage! We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay there. Marc went above and beyond our expectations with too many special touches to list. Wonderfull cabin, great amenities, nice little touches and wonderful outdoor area!

Awesome host! Marc went above and beyond! He had fresh cut flowers, snacks and drinks when we arrived. The place was tastefully loaded with antiques. Very nice! There was a place to sit in the backyard with a fire pit. The garage had pool supplies that came in handy, beach chairs, umbrellas, floaties and loads of beach towels. Plus, he had a supply of sunscreen in the walk in closet. He had everything we needed. If I had a question about something all I had to do was text him. He was very friendly and gave me great sources for antique stores in the area. Marc went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable.

This little home was so cute and beautiful! Everything inside was very clean, supplies were available and the decorations made you feel like you were really somewhere special and well thought-out! We definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon!

Everything was great from check in up until check out! Highly recommend!! Will book again! Being close to beach and having everything we needed to take right to the beach was the icing on the cake.

This property was absolutely stunning. Being from the country in Ohio we appreciated Marc’s beautiful succulent’s and wild flowers. Private backyard with a garden, fire pit and sitting area. It was a Beautiful place to eat breakfast out back. Comfortable living room with adorable country kitchen. And 2 roomy bedrooms with nice bathroom with walk in shower. His beautiful antique’s thru out the property added to it’s unique charm. There was all sorts of amenities everywhere from bicycles to beach gear to all the basic bathing and kitchen supplies you would Need. Highly recommend by our family. Thank you Marc for your wonderful hospitality!

We loved our stay at Marc's cottage! The cottage was probably the most well stocked rental we have ever been too. Marc is a thoughtful host and very communicative. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Very close to beaches, downtown South Haven and blueberry picking. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

This was our first trip to South Haven! What a great house with all the little things! Marc was a great host and provided many insights. The house was great for us. Loved the extras that Marc provided...beach items, fire pit with S'mores, etc. 10/10

Our family of four (two adults and children aged 7 and 11) thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Along with the items shared on the listing, the owner provided many thoughtful little extras (e.g. welcome notes on chalkboards, very well-stocked home, items for s’mores, games and art items, beach items etc). The house and location in a clearing in a more foresty area and backyard made my husband and I feel like we were on a writers retreat. There were lots of birds chirping which was always charming to us (and the owner has many birdhouses and binoculars and a bird book). There were a few old tech items like a working record player with records the kids enjoyed and typewriter which my son used to log our vacation. As a family of four it would be nice to have another bathroom ;) but still was a very lovely stay and we hope to come back again.

So glad we found this property! Beautiful garden area. So relaxing. The host, Marc, has thought of everything here.Close to everything—Downtown South Haven, grocery, restaurants. But you feel like you’re secluded in this property.

The home is well cared for, clean, and well stocked. This would be an excellent place for a single person, a couple or two couples. If you are traveling with children, the home has things for the children to do. It is located in a private location but is close to everything South Haven has to offer. If you need addition space the owners also have another place to stay on the premises. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Marc, the owner made sure our stay was everything we hoped for.

My mom n sisters and I took a few days to just be with one another and what a perfect place to do it. Everything we needed plus some was available to us. It felt like home. Warm, comfortable and so many beautiful unexpected touches. Decorated perfectly. Thanks for an enjoyable stay

After many years of staying in vacation rentals across the country , I have to say that none of them matched this owners attention to detail and providing of supplies. From very good quality spices , olive oil, flavored vinegars, fresh fruit, coffee and teas, paper supplies( like baggies, foils etc…). There was no limit to his attention to provisions. Marc was so very responsive to any questions or recommendations and even notified us that we could check in early. He should receive some “Greatest Host Award”;))
