Traditional Irish Stone Barn Cottage in Beautiful and Tranquil Countryside

What a wonderful holiday. David and his family were very welcoming and helpful with excellent information about the local area and further afield. The cottage was everything we hoped for and more - an open fire, complete kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a historic building sympathetically renovated. And with two lively dogs who instantly befriended us. There was a very pleasant short walk on the farm, and many more challenging walks a short drive away. The Adare village had everything we needed for self catering and pubs / restaurants. Very highly recommended.

David was a gracious host who met us at the cottage with his adorable terriers. A warm fire and pastries awaited our arrival. The location and amenities of the cottage with timeless decor and lovely artwork was perfect as our home base for day trips. We will return another time for sure! The cottage was lovely, just as advertised. David, the host, met us on arrival. He was so welcoming and friendly. The best part of the day was returning home to the cottage after traveling around. We especially loved that the cottage is on David's farm. The sunrises were beautiful. We will miss the village of Adare and David's puppies who greeted us each day.

This was the perfect location and property for us as a family of 4 during our first trip to Ireland. David was a great host, giving us recommendations for things to do in town and local sites to visit. The cottage itself was comfy and adorable, and my kids loved waking up to check on Jake and Ted (the dogs) and the cows on the farm. We will definitely come back to this place in the future!

Absolutely adored this place!!! Cozy and warm, sweet touches like a homemade pie on our arrival, umbrella for our use, friendly farm animals, easy and quick communication with the owners. Every detail was seen to. So delightful. The window seat was my morning breakfast perch. Would have loved to stayed longer.

David was a lovely host and this place is adorable! Very nice stay, despite us visiting during the worst storm in a decade (Eowyn) and the entire country losing power. David got us what we needed and the place was great.

Our stay at the cottage was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. It is a pastoral paradise nestled in the Irish countryside. The cottage is a comfortable well appointed barn conversion that offers authenticity with all of the comforts of home - complete with a homemade apple tart waiting upon arrival. Walking along the paths around the farm provides spectacular views in a quiet and peaceful setting. David and his family are lovely. They are accommodating and respond quickly to all queries. We cannot wait to return!

Fantastic stay! David and his mom were great hosts, quick to respond to any requests. Very comfortable and a great jumping off point to explore southwestern Ireland. Would definitely stay again.
