It was a lovely home' perfectly situated near dining and shopping
We had a wonderful experience. Everything about the cottage was perfect. Very close to town and everything else. The owner was extremely accommodating, friendly, and responsive. We will be back next year!!
Great location minutes walk to Broad St. Fenced in back yard for your pups. Neighbors extremely friendly. Managment excellent forgot a few things and they shipped them back home to us. Definitely would stay again.
I loved our stay in the cottage. It was a great experience. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. The cottage is close to town and anywhere else you’d like to go! We will be back next year!
The property and the owner exceeded expectations and could not have been better. The communication disaster was with Evolve- who handles many rental properties. They never answered my questions before heading to Georgia from ArÃzona clarify information- only a survey of how well they did. The owner stepped in and resolved the issues we had on checking in. i finally had to reach out to a VRBO itself to get resolution. The property is wonderful! everything i needed to have to meet up with my family who has just moved to Thomasville area!! can't say enough positives and highly recommend this home, location, including comfortable beds!! 5 stars to the owner and the Monroe Cottage and 0 to Evolve as property managers!
Let me start by saying that this property has the potential to be quite nice. The kitchen and bath set up was quite lovely, as is the living area, but there were definitely some issues. Most of my issues with the property have been discussed with the property owner, Pam. The major issues were: 1) wobbly tub not properly secured to the floor, which is a safety hazard. I couldn’t even turn around in the tub without it wobbling precariously. 2) shower curtain rod which was not secured properly, and which fell and nearly hit me in the head. 3) big dog on the other side of the fence who growled and snarled at my dog until we went inside - according to the owner, he’s actually friendly, but there was no warning regarding the big pup on the other side of a small fence. 4) the chain on the back door was not engaged when I arrived, and the back door thumb latch was unlocked. Security hazard. I ended up spending one night at the property and then going back to my parents apartment. As I said above, I have spoken to the property’s owner, and she made notes of the concerns I had. If these issues above are fixed, the property would be fine.
Cute home. Near the Old Oak. For small parties, as there is only 1 shower.
We enjoyed our stay in this artsy little cottage. It’s clean, close to everything we wanted and it’s such a cute and comfy place to hang out for my husband and I.
Quaint home close to downtown with everything you need for a nice weekend getaway. It is walking distance to the shops and restaurants downtown and a few blocks to the historic Bug Oak and Lampham-Patterson summer cottage. Fun trip to visit Thomasville.
Excellent
The property is fun and in wonderful shape for its age. It is someplace i would return.
Didn't know the kind of neighborhood it was in. It is quite a walk to get to places as well.
