Stayed Sep 26, 2024Cottage was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Our group loved the decor and the amenities. Our host was very thoughtful! We had to leave early due to the Hurricane Helene, Jennifer was still great and caring during our short time there. We plan to return!!

Stayed Nov 10, 2023This is a great place for a quick getaway. Very comfortable and clean. Far enough out so it is quiet but still close to grocery stores, shopping and restaurants. Everything we needed was on hand. We’ll be back.

Stayed May 27, 2022It was a pleasure meeting Jennifer upon our arrival and coming across one another during my family’s stay. We visited the Sour Granny and throughout the home there are positive words of affirmation around the beautiful cottage. The space is well lit during the day with natural lighting. Then at night the indoor lighting helps brighten specific rooms! My family and I enjoyed cooking together our meals, as the TV showed our favorite shows on the Roku. In the sour granny the furniture is comfy, bedrooms spacious, bathroom stocked with the essentials, dishes/utensils/kitchen-ware/etc. was clean, and the temperature system works amazing! For sure Jennifer was a wonderful host, and recommended to us some wonderful places we visited while staying at the cottage. Our family feels grateful to have met North Carolina the way we did for our vacation.
