Entering through the pretty porch, you have the living/dining area set out in front of you. An open fire gives that cosy country feel, and contemporary furniture includes a table to sit four, a leather armchair and a luxurious sofa (which converts to a comfortable double bed if extra sleeping space is required). The fully equipped kitchen is traditional country style and has plenty of workspace. The living room doors reveal a huge bedroom with twin double beds and a newly fitted en-suite shower room. A further separate toilet completes the accommodation, which is all on well level. Luxury cotton towels are provided for all guests and for your entertainment there is a Smart TV, along with a selection of books and games.

At the rear of the cottage is a private enclosed garden, with dining area, and a BBQ provided in the warmer months.

Enjoy walks and cycle rides from the door, with easy access to the neighbouring village shop, restaurants and pubs. You could take a walk or drive 1½ miles to Wyken Vineyards, to browse in their lovely shop, buy some Wyken wine, or sample local produce from the Saturday Farmer’s Market. The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds is nearby where you can walk through the beautiful Abbey Gardens, with the remains of the 11th century abbey, plus a lovely playground and ducks a plenty to feed. Explore the market square (market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays) or take a tour round the Greene King Brewery (every day, varying times).

Lavenham is a 35-minute drive away, famous for its wealth as a medieval wool town, with over 300 listed buildings and huge church tower - Guide yourself on a fabulous walk of the town and discover the leaning houses and many other treats. Shop and pub 2 miles.
