Stayed Sep 17, 2025The location was good, house it older but the space was prefect for us, reminded me of my grandparents home which I loved. The owner was excellent at communication, that's hard to come by when rent out a house. Can fit a lager family and any dogs as well, located right near Stanleys Gas Station which was very convenient for us. Would be glad to rent again.

Stayed May 30, 2025Meylinda was great! She was very helpful and kind and allowed a late check out for our 2nd day of fishing! The location was perfect for our trips. The only thing we did was sleep and shower at the house - no cooking, etc. It had just rained when we got there, so saw some bugs and the grass was tall so the mosquitoes were out in force. I think the house needs a good extermination but again - hard to tell because of the rain. It would be great if it had a fenced yard. Overall for our needs it was fine. Meylinda was truly wonderful!

Stayed Jul 26, 2024This house was PERFECT for us! The house was clean, had all necessary items for cooking (including charcoal grill), was decorated in a beachy vibe, and displayed art from local artists that you could purchase. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and a hair dryer. Our kids LOVED the stuffed animals, puzzles, and board games- and thought the throw blankets were the softest they had ever felt. I would recommend this vacation home to everyone wanting a kid and family friendly beachy vibe stay in Matagorda.
