The Mallard - Waterfront Cottage with Pool Table and Boat Slip!

This cottage was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The pictures aren't able to capture everything the place has to offer. Its the perfect place for a large family, with a fully stocked kitchen and large BBQ, plenty of seating and sleeping space and so many bathrooms. We were a little concerned about the distance from the town, but the amenities and beauty of the place being in a gated community, offsets the short drive. Simply stunning views, and peaceful oasis. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was better than we imagined. There was enough room for all 10 of us - 8 adults and 2 children under 6. Very well stocked with basic spices and appliances/dishes/silverware. The beach area was fantastic - the pictures don’t do it justice and it’s only a 3 minute walk from the cottage. We would not hesitate to book this again, and it’s only 15 min to downtown Osoyoos. The owners were very responsive and the home is beautiful - watching the barn swallows fly around was an added bonus!

We were a group of friends travelling together for golf and winery visiting. The layout and location of Mark and Tania’s home suited the needs of four couples perfectly. The view from the deck was lovely and The Cottages property is beautiful and immaculately maintained.Thanks so much for sharing your home!

This is our second time as a family renting both houses from Mark and Tania. The view of the lake is amazing. The neighborhood is quiet and the landscaping throughout the development is beautiful. We made good use of the play ground. The houses had plenty of room for 12 guests. The perfect place for family gatherings.

House was awesome, kitchen was especially well equipped for our non stop cooking and eating! Layout was great for our multi generational family. Deck was private and view was gorgeous. The Cottages property was amazing, beautifully landscaped and immaculate! And super quiet. Mark & Tania, thanks for sharing !

The place is big and spacious for family with 6 adults and two kids. Great location with a lot of beach toys. Pool table provided evening entertainment. Some appliances not working well. Check out cleaning procedures is a bit more than normally expected.

This is a beautiful cottage. The layout and location are excellent and it's really a lovely place to stay. Only issue we had was ants. Coming in from the garage and from under the front door seal. Also in the basement. The owner did tell me the previous people had complained about ants as well. There were traps out and some spray (which we didn't want to spray while we were in the home). I contacted the owner and it was suggested we purchase traps and then be reimbursed for them. Honestly when spending this kind of money on a vacation I would hope that the problem would have been rectified by the time we checked in. Also all of the upstairs windows had a ton of bugs in spider webs in the corners. There were liquid splashes of some sort down the wall by the patio doors and our socks when worn were pretty dirty the first day we arrived. I assume a cleaning company comes in and does the service, so I would maybe suggest a chat with them to address these areas. Overall we loved our stay. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean but floors/windows left a bit to be desired.

This was our first stay at The Cottages. Mark was attentive in communicating with us all along the way even when he himself was out of the country. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. Mark even arrived to see if we needed anything. The location is perfect for being close to the beach and a quick walk to the pool and gym. The facilities were great for our kids and grandkids. Everyone had a fantastic time. Thanks Mark and Tania. We really enjoyed our stay at your place.

This place has just about everything you need for a family vacation. Perfect spot, patios overlooking the lake, mountains and marina. It's a short walk to beach, marina and clubhouse. Plenty of extra parking nearby, lots of storage room and 2nd fridge in garage, great house layout with lots of living and lounging space, nice kitchen with plenty of extras. Great communication with Mark, the host, before and during trip. We had a minor issue with plumbing but he had a plumber there the same day I told him that came and fixed the issue. Thanks Mark for providing a great spot for families to make memories for life. Cheers
