The Little Yellow Cottage

It was a charming little cottage with a garden full of bloom and just a short walk to downtown. The river that runs through the little park right next to the park is a sweet local hangout-all very charming.

It’s promoted as dog friendly but there was no gate in the back yard!The location is good and I appreciate that.

The property itself was great. The location was perfect. We booked it for next year. My only concern was that we thought there would be more room outside for dogs. We were surprised to find a note that the dog area was confined to a very small dog run with no light. Flashlight was fine - but my main concern was that grapevines were growing over the dog run area and the dog run was full of little grapes that had fallen. Grapes are toxic to dogs. I picked up what I could but there were so many. We ended up not being able to use the dog run and had to walk the dogs on a leash to the nearby park instead.

If i could give 6 stars I would!! The property manager accommodated us last minute when our travel plans changed and waived a ton of fees. Very grateful to have stayed with them; the place was cozy and had everything we could need

The little yellow cottage was perfect for a one night girls getaway. The backyard was so lovely with adirondack chairs for early morning coffee. We also used it as a backdrop for fun birthday photos. The location made it easy to walk into town for wine tasting, dinner and morning bakery run. We only wish we could have stayed two nights! Communications was great and the cottage was as described.

Very cute property. Went there with friend so the 2 bedroom 2 bath was perfect. Disappointed in the plumbing in the house. Faucet on the tub needs work, toilet in that bathroom has to be flushed numerous times, faucet handles throughout are backwards & confusing. Really goofy. You need a better plumber. Hair dryer in master needs replaced. These minor issues should be easily repaired.

Lovely little cottage in convenient location. The back garden was so peaceful and even in the heat of the summer a cool and shady spot to sit and relax.

nice but somewhat outdated which didn't take away from the convenience of being close to town.. losing power thee times was unfortunate with no emergency lighting available.....
