The house is in a beautiful quiet off the beaten path area, but close enough to everything if you needed something. We were very happy and would definitely stay again!

Ashley was great to work with! Every time I had a question, she answered me promptly. The House was adorable very Homie had all the amenities that I needed. My dogs and I had a great time and walk around the neighborhood and meeting other people. It was a wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back next year.

We had a lovely time! The house was overall comfortable. Besides some outlets that didn’t work and one of the beds being partially broken, it was a lovely stay

Cute cottage on quiet street in endearing Mount Gretna. Hopefully the property owners have added a pasta pot, utensil to clean the grill, a good supply of dishwasher liquid, and new bed pillows.

We were already familiar with Mount Gretna Cottages so we found the cottage to be charming. Well stocked with kitchen utensils, cookware sets, plus dinnerware and drinkware. Although I used all my linens and towels due to an allergy they were available as well. The front porch faces the street and it’s a nice place to relax and even eat meals there if you so desire. I’m going to give a constructive suggestion and that is that it needs a deep cleaning inside and out. I spent several hours the first day cleaning the outside and an hour each day cleaning. I realize that pollen, leaves and pine needles fall, but this was a large amount for a long time. The porch was coated with tree debris, pollen, dirt, dust and long cobwebs including on the beautiful rockers. The cleaning couple said that is not their job to do the outside. The pavers in the patio area should be pressure washed along with the grill cleaned thoroughly. The grill was molded. The inside of the house appeared to be superficially clean, but stove burner drip pans were dirty plus oven had not been cleaned. I didn’t use the one white coffee maker, but cleaned that because it was very dirty. The fan upstairs had dirt hanging from it and the floor vents and return vents in the ceilings were coated with dirt which the owner has a duty to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and health. The vacuum emitted a bad smell. It would have been nice to have screens in the windows and a small trash can in the powder room.

Location was great!! Visually, the property was charming; looked exactly like photos. But staying there had drawbacks. Beds were quite hard; we developed backaches. The only window with a screen that allowed it to be opened was in the upstairs bathroom; others had no screens or didn't open. Although TV was new, it was not working upon arrival. Notified agent. TV was still not working when we left. Dining room chairs were, as pictured, heavy stools, most without backs. Using them was awkward and uncomfortable. Agreement did state we'd have to provide our own sheets, towels. Others might feel differently; but we decided this is too much of a bother. Paper products were provided. We appreciated the choice of eco friendly brands.

Having been long time Gretna visitors we agreed that this property was, for our purposes which included our corgi , a favorite. I would have liked to figure out how to get a picture on the TV and the construction project across the street was a distraction on several days but we would come back to this place again.
